At The Urban Cowboy, we are guided by one fundamental principle: have a good time. Located in the historic Railyard District of Llano, you are a short walk from Badu Park, the waterfalls at Lake Llano, the downtown square, bakeries, museums, galleries, antique stores, movie theater, coffee shops, taphouse, distillery, unique stores, and restaurants. The 1,539 square foot historic loft features an open floorplan with a full kitchen, a fifteen-foot bar, a dining area, a living area with fireplace, a billiard table, 15' copper ceilings, granite stone walls, and original hardwood floors dating back to the early 1900s, and is sure to create unforgettable memories. Each bedroom suite features soaring ceilings, a clawfoot tub, a private bathroom, a cloudlike Beautyrest mattress, a flat-screen TV, and its own distinct personality.

So craft a cocktail at the bar, throw a feast on the grill off the patio overlooking Llano bridge or do nothing. It is a unique oasis for hunters, travelers, dreamers, and romantics, and you'll always find a welcome mat on our porch. The Urban Cowboy is an adult playground. Inquire about access to the 5-star Soar Health Club fitness facility (available to guests with a $ 10+ tax day pass and signed waiver).

Beautiful property, tastefully decorated!

We enjoyed our trip so much, staying in this beautiful property was a treat! Loved the decorations, especially the western art. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to relax and visit.

The property was wonderful! Very well-appointed, clean and comfortable! The only negative was noise at night from the gym located next door, but even so, we would definitely like to stay again as everything else about it made it worth it.

Destination Wedding Stay

We were in Llano for a wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was conveniently located and was equipped with all of the necessities and then some. Highly recommend!

The place was great. Well stocked and comfortable.

Overall we had a great time. The house was clean and comfortable. The amenities were well stocked and the design was great. The fitness center next door left little room for parking and had people coming and going at all hours.

We loved staying in Llano at the Urban Cowboy! Great kitchen to cook with a grill outside. The living room was perfect for relaxing and watching football. The bedrooms were comfortable, dark, and cold which made for amazing sleep! We visited 3 of the state parks for hiking and winery’s….it’s a great location in the hill country!

Look no further

Perfect location, great decor and layout with 2 king beds and en-suite baths, awesome entertainment setup with the pool table (we played every night) and TV with alllll the apps. Walking distance to the town square (but it was a bit chilly so we drove most of the time). Lots to do in Llano - we toured the Museum and Red Top Jail, drank at the Distillery and Brewery, and shopped at the boutique stores. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for everything!

We loved everything but the gym noise; not a deal breaker for us though. Bring ear plugs😁

This vacation rental was very cool. We loved having a full kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out all the time. There were even some snacks in place. We had local friends over for dinner. The beds are king size 🙌, were comfortable and the bed linens were ahhh divine! Even took pictures of the tags so I could buy some for myself lol. Another plus was the washer and dryer. There’s a pool table which is great and a nice bar area but we didn’t use them. We loved the decor. Great breakfast sandwiches and donuts etc. at bakery next-door & the gym next door on the other side to work off those bakery calories. Nice detail I didn’t figure out till the day before we left but there’s a filtered water spout on the interior of the fridge so no need to buy bottled water. there was even a junk drawer with extra pens, notebooks, batteries, decks of cards, spare phone charger and instructions on the blue tooth speaker that sits on the butcher block in the kitchen. I have long thick curly hair, needing good shower head pressure to wash it. Was no problem with the rain heads. I didn’t think I’d like them but I did. Now my husband wants one in our shower🙄. There’s a grill on the porch. I loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee and reading. Napped out there a couple times . The bedrooms are great for sleeping and napping if you like a dark room. The only windows are across the front where the living room , dining & kitchen is There’s all the utensils a person would need in the kitchen. Blow dryer‘s in each bathroom. I saw a curling iron as well. Lots of dresser storage for clothes and one of the bedrooms has a closet for hanging clothes. The gym next-door can be quite noisy & hog the parking lot. We knew there was a gym next-door when we booked; therefore, we expected some noise. However, we didn’t expect Llano residents to be working out at 2 AM. I think the sound is worse because it’s an old building and likely not much insulation. Bring ear plugs for sleeping. The host was great to communicate with & quickly answer any questions I had (both before & during our stay). We would definitely stay again on next trip to Llano.
