Peace, privacy, and proximity to the outdoors, world-class shopping, and dining await at this charming Highlands vacation rental in the Mirror Lake neighborhood. Relax in the renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath living space or step outside to fire up the grill and fire pit for a BBQ. Head about 1 mile into town via the Highlands Greenway and explore local restaurants, shops, and entertainment. A unique landscape of waterfalls, trails, and mountain peaks.

We welcome well-behaved pets (2 dogs maximum)! VRBO does not collect the pet fee at the time of booking, therefore, please plan to pay the $125 pet fee/stay when you sign the Rental Agreement after booking.

We are Bree and Boyd and we live in Milton, Georgia. We have loved going to Highlands, NC for years. We purchased the home in 2021 and fully renovated the two bathrooms and kitchen.
Our favorite activities are hiking to Sunset Rock, Whiteside Mountain, and paddle boarding in Mirror Lake. We also enjoy the Highlands shops and restaurants.

Why they chose this property

We love the Mirror Lake neighborhood for relaxing walks and access to the lake and town via the Highlands Greenway trail. Cool evenings around the fire pit with a game of cornhole is a great way to wind down after a day of shopping or hiking.

What makes this property unique

This is a single family 1 story home on a .4 acre lot nestled in the quiet Mirror Lake neighborhood that has a mix of full time residents and other vacation homes. It has a very wooded and private front and back yard, but it's easy to take a neighborhood walk down to Mirror Lake or all the way into town.
Our guests love the casual and cozy interior design and clean and modern, newly renovated bathrooms. With a fire pit (firewood provided), weber grill, and cornhole, a lot of families enjoy cool summer evenings in the backyard.
We are Pet (dog) Friendly and welcome you to enjoy Hidden Bear with your pup! There is a $125 pet fee per stay (you will be invoiced outside of VRBO).
