About this property
Singing Sands - Built in 1920!
Singing Sands is one of the most unique houses in Cannon Beach. Built in 1920 and remodeled in 1999 to retain the cabin appeal, this home has been in the same family for years. The beach is only one block away and downtown is just two blocks way - a great location to explore everything!
The first thing you notice at Singing Sands is the glassed-in front porch which is the perfect spot for a good book, a cup of coffee, or a little nap. The living room has lots of seating, book shelves to explore, a TV and cable to watch, and a gas fireplace to warm up after playing on the beach.
The kitchen is well equipped for cooking any type of meal or for just gathering together around the large kitchen table. Make sure to try out the 1940's milk shake mixer that's been the family for generations. If you need a little extra refrigerator room there is an extra one next to the washer and dryer in the back room. Make sure to check out the old menu hanging in the kitchen from the “Singing Sands” restaurant in Cannon Beach – it's a fun bit of nostalgia.
The back yard at Singing Sands is amazing. The deck has a picnic table with a bench seat and a horseshoe pit in the yard. It's a great place to hang out if it's too windy at the beach.
There are three bedrooms and two baths with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds so there's plenty of room for everyone. Remember Singing Sands for your next trip to Cannon Beach and Beachcomber Vacation Homes ... find your shell

This house was absolutely perfect for us. It was close enough to town to walk, and close to the beach.

Hello Laura, we are thrilled that you enjoyed your time on the Oregon coast. We would love to have you again, the next time your travels bring you to Cannon Beach.
Great place, easy onsite parking and steps from downtown core of dining and shops. 2 min walk to beach. Very well appointed with lots of towels and blankets, good grown up and kids books. We had a pretty big wind storm one day that blew the small gate off, property managers were quick to reply even offering to fix same day - which was not necessary but demonstrated good hospitality. Better value and more space than rising rates of comparative hotel based beach stays. Small side notes (doesn’t affect 5 star rating) 1) very cold when arriving (thermostat and fire were off) 2) horseshoes/other listed toys would have been fun to use but were not present
Comfortable, lots of seating indoors and out, kitchen had everything we needed, comfortable beds.

Hello Christy, we are thrilled that you enjoyed your time on the Oregon coast. We would love to have your family again, the next time your travels bring you to Cannon Beach.
Such a sweet, quirky house! We loved our stay and appreciated the size of the yard for the kids to play in. Loved that it was walking distance to town, too. The only time we used the car was to hike in the state park, which is so close! We hope to visit again soon to see the puffins!

Jennifer, we are so happy we could provide our home for your family. I am so glad the location of the home was perfect for all of your adventures. we would love to have you back the next time you find yourself in Cannon Beach.
Singing Sands is a snug cottage that feels like home. The unusually cold February weather put it to the test, but gathering in the living room by the vigorous fire made for cozy evenings. Extremely well maintained, with a kitchen that has everything and a loaded bookshelf. Room to spread out for meals and games. A favorite reading and musing spot is the glassed-in sun porch. A half block down the road and you’re at the beach, with an easy stroll into town. A bonus for us was a herd of elk meandering along the beach and through the neighborhood.
