House and Rooms were clean and a good setup for adults. It had a game room for kids including a PlayStation type of video game system. Open kitchen and front room were great for socializing. It's advertised as secluded and it is, except there is a separate house right next to this one on the property. We never or heard saw the tenants there so they were very quiet and respectful but it isn't totally isolated. I would stay here again, It had all amenities although we never used the pool or the TV, Hot tub worked perfect.
Had a great time hanging out and catching up with family. Played cornhole for first time. Comfortable beds, beautiful paintings and inspirational signage. I suspect someone previously may have had a cat in their entourage. Rooms were clean.
Excellent location, centrally located to redding and Mt. Shasta/Lake Siskiyou. House was in decent condition but looked a little worn- obviously is a popular rental. Communication with host was excellent.

The pool was not clean, the entire house smelled of dog urine. The table on the back porch was very unsafe, falling apart. The rug in the living room is a trip hazard, curled up on both sides. Fans in bathrooms didn’t work.
This is the 2nd year we stayed. It was very comfortable and well stocked. Hosts are friendly and communicative. A short drive to Bridge Bay and there’s a nice market in town. We had no issues!
The property is older, but clean and it was nice having a lot of things labeled - easy to find and easy to put away. There were a lot of little small things that really needed repaired or replaced in the house. For example, the master bath shower door didn’t latch. We had to use a washcloth to try to wedge it closed. There were also several lightbulbs burnt out and in one spot the carpet was coming away from the tact’s creating a trip hazard. The dishwasher was also in desperate need of being cleaned. The master bedroom bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept very well during our stay. While, somethings in the kitchen were well stocked other things such as silverware (for example only one butter knife in the entire house) were lacking. The playroom was a great addition unfortunately the air hockey table has seen better days several functionalities on it were broken and also a lot of broken plastic on top where it was easy to scrape your hands and arms while playing.
This place was perfect for our girlfriend annual getaway ..Close to tShasta lake & Redding .. Home was wonderful.. had everything for having fun without leaving the property! (Pool, Hot tub, game room , screened in porch , even lil white robes ! Kitchen had everything.. email beautiful dinners and we made lots of crafts there lots of memories made Our only complaints are that the carpet needs replacing soon..Quite worn & used.. We may have gotten some flea bites from master bedroom. got few bites on our lower legs..??Main bathroom bathtub faucet needs to be replaced ..super hard to shut off for us ladies.. place could use a good deep cleaning.. BUT with that being said, we would stay there again. Had a good time in the home and out of the home , screened in porch for card games , the POOL and hot tub.. beautiful home and property .. We recommend it
Lovely home. Overdue for some upgrades (carpet is old), but all-in-all a nice stay. We did have to pick up some juice drink straw wrappers that were left behind when we arrived...also hot tub not working, but we weren't going to use it anyway. My grandson had the time of his life in the pool! We rented this house for privacy, found out the first day of our stay that there is a renter on the property. The renters did not bother us, but it would have been nice to know it is a shared property. They do not have access to the amenities shown, so that was a plus. The renters did not create any issues at all and we did have a very pleasant stay. They cap the thermostat at 75 degrees - if you want it cooler they will provide info on what to do.
The host was understanding and helpful, the home is well appointed and it was lovely soaking at night. We made the mistake of thinking we were booking closer to Mount Shasta so had long drives since it was a ski trip, so next time we will be more careful. It was a good spot for family and friends to cook together and relax in a comfortable neighborhood and spacious home. Thank you!
We’ve enjoyed staying in the house, the pool, jacuzzi and games. Nice quiet area, the house was equipped with everything we needed, very well thought through! Easy communication with the host.
This was such a great location for a family getaway out of the city. Surrounded by trees, the property is tucked away from neighbors but close to the lake and stores/restaurants.
It was a great experience from the moment we entered the property, everything very clean, very tidy in general, it is very beautiful, my wife was fascinated
Place was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Communicated with the host throughout who was very friendly. We were here for boating and rented an inexpensive slip at Bridge Bay for the week which worked out great. There is a Dollar General and small market near the property where we could restock up as needed.
This house was perfect for our stay. We used the hot tub a bunch :)
Easy access to Lake Shasta and the 5. We traveled up to the Shasta Ski Park, out to Weaverville and drove around Redding. The only unfortunate thing was the rainy weather. We will be back and would love to stay at Kokanee Grove again.
My brother and I had both our families staying for a vacation in the Shasta region.
Very nice place, quiet, clean, spacious. The pool was great for these hot days, and the location is central which allowed us to discover Shasta Lake, Mt Shasta, Lassen park.
Would certainly come back if we plan another trip in the region.
The location and size of the house was great. There are many toys and activities for all ages. It was close to Shasta Lake, Caverns, hiking, and Redding.
There fires and smoke in area, but this is not the fault of the hosts. Just bad luck.
I would come here again.
The house was gorgeous, very clean, so many outdoor options or just relaxing watching a movie. We had the best time celebrating my Husband’s 40th birthday. Will definitely rent this place again.
I would highly recommend staying here! The house was great, clean and smelled nice. We enjoyed the pool, hanging out in the large living room and the game room was a fun bonus. Its close driving distance to Lake Shasta and we also explored WhiskeyTown Recreation Area. The host was quick and responsive to any questions we had.
We were a family of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids.
We had plenty of space and the house was well stocked with all of the amenities. We brought our boat and ended up parking on the street, it felt safe and fine. Great location to Centimudi boat launch (10 minutes door to door). Lovely hilly community.
We were incredibly disappointed with our stay at this rental. Shortly after arriving, we discovered the property had fleas, which completely derailed our vacation. Instead of relaxing, we spent the majority of our time cleaning, vacuuming, and trying to avoid getting bitten. We reached out to the owner, who initially promised to “make things right.” Unfortunately, that promise fell flat—we were only refunded 125, which doesn’t begin to cover the inconvenience and discomfort we endured. To add insult to injury, they offered us 20% off a future stay—as if we’d ever return after such an experience. We expect basic cleanliness and hygiene from any vacation rental, and this one failed on both counts. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.
