Very cozy and comfortable, bonus that they had nightlights and lots of reading lamps. Kitchen well equipped, bed was very comfortable as was the living room furniture . Also liked that there were 2 tables, one to eat at and the other for games or puzzles. It was very warm and inviting with lots of their personal collections that made it welcoming, like you were staying at one of your family members place. There was a perfect outdoor space but we didn't get to use it because of inclement weather, lots of water toys, like kayaks, etc.Would go back if possible.
We chose this place for the location and it was fabulous. I wanted to be close the water for the kids to play and was pleasantly surprised by the nearby park. The home and furnishings are older but comfortable. The host was very responsive when I had questions and the initial booking needed changing. Although overall I would say the place was clean, more attention could be paid to detailed cleaning and some torn/tattered linens should be replaced.

Thanks so much, the local park walking distance down the beach with kiddie playground is a big plus. We’ve always loved that. Our home is right on the beach with no bank, that’s why we call it “baby beach”. It is a much loved family beach house which we’ve had for 25 years, beloved by all the family. My nieces and nephews have grown up here and don’t like to see anything changed from their perfect memories of times of wonder in a beautiful place!! We’ve noted with gratitude the feedback about the sheets. Thanks. For incoming renters, the living room furniture including the couch, side tables, and swivel arm chair and ottoman, master bedroom bed, living room rug and hall carpet are all new in the last three years and the second bathroom is brand new, and the flooring was redone in the main bathroom this spring. Thanks again for your visit and we’re always grateful for our customers who find our beautiful place and have a nourishing weekend with kids dogs and family.
The house is older and lived in as would be expected of a place that allows dogs. The location is awesome, right on the water. The host gave great directions, the only thing I would add is to say that the house is yellow because it is a little bit difficult to find. The air conditioning unit was not working right and the host was very attentive to try to get it working correctly. I can’t say enough nice things about the host, Jess. She was very personable and wonderful to work with.

We are so thankful to Mary and her friend could come with their three dogs, we do appreciate that this house is a dog friendly family home, not a modern "made for rental" beach house. We are thankful to them for pointing out that the air conditioner was not responding. so we were able to rapidly detect that maintenance had a few wires loose and we were able to get the heater/cooling unit fixed the day they left in time for the cooler weather. We will make sure the directions refer to the yellow house (so sorry, thought that was already in the description) and that the signs are as clear as possible (gps takes one to the edge of our property, not to the driveway. We are working to correct that). For "older" "city" guests, Mary and her friend did as well as could be expected out here in the rural country. I think she and her friend said they'd like to come back to the beach house, for which we are grateful. We are in a rural area, so a little ruggedness is to be expected- we have firewood and steps. We are thankful this 1960s beach cabin is of the "Old Whidbey" style, comfortable well loved and and lived in, this is a family style dog welcoming home.
We loved this house! The location was perfect - grocery store and restaurants not more than 2 minutes away. And the view! We thoroughly enjoyed watching the water while we ate dinner and played cards.

Our family loved the view and features of this house. The beds were very comfortable. Having a playground nearby was nice for our grands. The owner was friendly and accessible.
This was perfect place for my dog and I to escape. Charming and cosy, very easy to relax and enjoy the excellent view of the water. Excellent communications with the owner. Will be planning more escapes to this wonderful place in the future.

Beautiful property with incredible view
This was a very comfortable, low-key beach house. It poured rain most of the time we were there, but we fit in a walk on the beach and a trip into Langley for lunch. It was great to be able to bring our dog, too.

My family and I had a great stay at Jessica’s place. The home is lovely and location is beautiful. We used the kayaks, enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and loved the peaceful neighborhood. Jess was a wonderful and responsive host. We highly recommend this vacation home.

Fantastic to have Tim and family come to beautiful Whidbey and they were super guests, we absolutely love it when people come enjoy this home away from home at the beach. Safe Travels Tim and family!
This charming home is located right on the water, with the sounds of the waves capturing our hearts right away. There was plenty of space for the family and enough extras, like the piano, games and puzzles, to make it easy to cozy up on the comfy couch or sit on the back deck watching the wildlife and waves. We will definitely be coming back!

We had such a relaxing stay on Baby Beach :) It was perfect for me, my husband and our toddler with loads of family friendly activities around the island, but also just the right amount of space in the home. The views were spectacular and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially loved the fireplace and the kayaks, as well as the park for our little one that was in walking distance! Will definitely be back!

Charming home with beautiful views!
We rented this house for Christmas weekend. All of us were comfortable and so taken with the views from the giant bay windows. We were graced by a whale pod a couple of times during our stay to make it all the more magical. 10/10 will be back!

Samantha thrilled you saw a whale pod in the harbor! So happy. It was lovely to have you for Christmas at Baby Beach. Please do return. Warmly, Jess
This house is a great location, right on the water and pet friendly! We walked our dog around the neighborhood a few times and she loved it. The location was really great and central, just a few blocks from the grocery store and coffee shops. The owners were great at communicating everything for check-in and provided everything we would need for the stay, including plenty of towels, blankets, and space heaters in every room, which was a nice touch for the winter month. I would definitely stay here again.
Perfect place for a relaxing getaway! The kids had access to a public park/playground with just a brief walk down the beach. Simple kayaks for everyone to enjoy on the water. Wood stove to warm up by, and plenty of dry wood. Great communication with host. The place was ready for us a few hours early, and we were able to stay an extra hour later!
Older property with character and charm.
If you like living in a home and not a glass and steel box by the water . then this is the place. Serenity is a word to that comes to mind when you pick this part of Freeland Town - Whidbey Island Washington State.

Great Fully Equipped House!
This was a wonderful house right on the water in Freeland, WA. Not only is this probably the best location on the whole bay, but the house has everything you need to have a great time. Within walking distance to great stores that have everything you need. We had my in laws and my 16 month old son and we all had an amazing time. the owner was very responsive and generous with their supplies and amenities!
