AFFORDABLE HOME ON SCENIC GOLF COURSE, GATED COMMUNITY, GREAT SUNSET VIEWS.

Your warm weather vacation home is located in the gated community of Stonegate at Johnson Ranch. Some of the amenities include an open floor plan with slate tile in the kitchen & dining area which gives it a unique look and feel. You will not find a better value on a golf course frontage home. Our home offers 3 bedrooms & 2 baths. The master has a California king bed, the other bedrooms feature one queen bed and one full bed. The entire home is fully furnished including large capacity washer & dryer, ceiling fans in every room, plus a fully equipped kitchen including spices and a reverse osmosis water filtration system for clean, great tasting drinking water right from the tap. There is parking for 2 cars in the garage. In-house entertainment includes high speed wireless internet, a 40 inch HD flat screen television, a 26 inch LCD TV in the master bedroom, and DVD player.

Entertainment options abound in the immediate area. Johnson Ranch is consistently voted one of the top Arizona communities to live and play. The Golf Club at Johnson Ranch is one of the best values in the Phoenix area with outstanding scenery and a challenging but fair layout. Our house is a short 500 yard walk to the clubhouse which has a great restaurant and bar. If Johnson Ranch doesn’t challenge your handicap there are 7 other excellent courses within 15 minutes and over 200 courses in the Phoenix area. Don’t forget your swim suits, tennis rackets, basketball shoes, or fishing poles. Johnson Ranch offers something for everyone. With three 25 meter pools with hot tubs, a catch and release pond, beach volleyball court, softball diamond, and numerous parks with playgrounds everyone in the family will have a great time. Polish you golf game at the free 9 hole pitch and putt course. Beautiful desert hiking and mountain biking in San Tan Regional Park is only 10 minutes away. If you prefer a more laid back pace after an enjoyable day watch the golfers from the covered patio while you bar-b-que.

There is no need to spend all your time in the car when you stay in our home. The restaurants within a ten minute drive offer steaks, burgers, Mexican, Greek, pizza, and Chinese food. Groceries, Super Wal-Mart, Walgreen's, banking and many other conveniences all within 5 minutes. Phoenix-Mesa Gateway airport is 25 minutes away and Phoenix Sky Harbor airport is less than 1 hour away.

Our home is located on the 18th tee box with excellent views. Why look at a cinder block wall from the patio when you can have views of the changing desert sky and the numerous birds that overwinter in Arizona. If you want a peaceful vacation while still having quick access to everything Arizona has to offer our house is for you.

Great place to getaway.

The house is as described and very nice. A grocery store was less than 10 minutes away to stock up. The best was the back yard and watching the sun set. Since it faces a golf course you have a great view. There was a table and chairs on the back patio for relaxing.

Quiet, family friendly home

We came for the holidays to visit family. Our original location fell through a couple of days before we were scheduled to arrive. We found this place and John was wonderful from the get go. Great at communicating. The home was perfect. Quiet, comfortable, clean. The perfect location. We will definitely look to stay here again the next time we're in town!

San Tan Valley Trip

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was very close to the pool and clubhouse which was nice. We enjoyed cooking out on the grill and eating dinners on the patio and watching the golfers and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner was wonderful to work with. We would definitely rent this home again.

This is a comfortable home that backs up to the 18th tee box. It provides great views of the beautiful Arizona sunsets. The community pool and hot tub are within walking distance.

Great stay at Johnson Ranch in San Tan Valley

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in picturesque San Tan Valley this March. The location for us was just right. The mornings usually started off with road runners, rabbits and quails running around just outside the backyard. It was a great, relaxing start to the day just sitting on the patio, drinking our morning tea and trying to decide what to do today. For myself there are lots of quality golf courses nearby, for my wife it's right in the middle of horse country with lots of riding barns very close. We both like hiking and there certainly is plenty of quality trails in the area - if the timing is right try the moonlight hike at San Tan Regional. The community is very friendly, everyone waves to each other while out walking and makes you feel welcome. There's a couple of community pools and hot tubs available for you and there's even a par 3 that you can use to work on your short game. There's shopping close by with lots of restaurants in the area - for a unique dinner experience a visit to San Tan Flats is a must. Our host John was available and supportive.

Quiet Vacation Home with Stunning Views

We stayed at this rental for 6 weeks and really enjoyed the location. It was close to good shopping in San Tan Valley and Queen Creek. The pantry was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The sunsets were amazing. My only complaints would be that the carpet is stained and needs cleaning or replacing and some paint on the walls was chipped and needed to be touched up. For the money, it was a good value.

Enjoyable winter stay

We had a pleasant second winter in this very comfortable home. The location is excellent and the home is spacious enough for guests. It is a 30 minute drive to the small Mesa airport which is convenient for family and friends to fly in and out on Allegiant Air. Golfers will enjoy the view of the ninth tee. John and Felicia are very accommodating and any questions or concerns are answered promptly. We recommend this home for an enjoyable stay.

Great location

My family spent a great week in this comfortable home. It is located very close from the shopping center, and there are some restaurants walking distance also. Our favorite is the Terrace, at Johnson Ranch. The owners were very helpful and courteous. I recommend this property to anyone who wants enjoy the view of the Arizona dessert.

House at Queen Creek

We stayed in this home for the month of January. It was great! The view of the sunsets from the patio was breathtaking. We found that it was stocked with all of the supplies that we needed. The master bedroom was very large with a master bathroom. The grocery store was about a 1/2 mile walk away. The San Tan Mountain Regional Park was under 10 minutes away and we enjoyed hiking the various trails. We also enjoyed watching the golfers tee off on the 9th hole right out our backyard. We used the grill often and ate a number of meals outside on the patio. Wonderful place!

We have always enjoyed traveling to different countries, Belize, Jamaica, Bahamas, New Zealand, Mazatlan and Palau where this picture was taken. We enjoy the diversity of the people and areas where we stay. When it came time to begin looking for possible retirement homes we picked the Queen Creek area. It is close to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and has the climate we both enjoy. We both love golf and exploring the desert.

Why they chose this property

My husband John has been coming to Phoenix for the last 4 or 5 years for a couple of weeks of golf with his friends. They have had a consistently great time and we decided that the Phoenix area is where we want to winter when we retire. We choose Johnson Ranch because there is so much to do in the immediate area without having to fight the crowds and traffic of Central Phoenix.

What makes this property unique

The numerous golf courses & the weather were the most important things we looked at. We like the location because everything you need is close by but outside the crowded areas of central Phoenix.
