About this property

Waterfront home with deep water, skiing/tubing coves, firepit, pool table, SUP

You owe it to yourself to make lifetime memories at “Peace of Paradise”. Spend a week at this
spacious lake house and enjoy the beautiful wide water views across from undeveloped Smith
Mountain Lake State Park. Three bedrooms, and two extra beds in the basement office provide
plenty of room for multiple guests, as well as private space to unwind. In addition to private
sleeping accommodations on all three levels of this home, there are full baths on all three levels.

Our guests will spend their days swimming, floating, fishing, boating, and relaxing on the no-
wake zone lake, all the while working up an appetite for a dinner expertly prepared on the gas

grill, and in the fully stocked kitchen. Watch your favorite shows with Wi-fi and smart TV’s, with
comcast cable in the main level family room, both bedrooms on the main level, as well as the
basement level rec room.

Have fun in the rec room playing pool, foosball and board games. Bask in the sun with the wrap-
around deck, or lounge in the shade with the under deck patio.

Centrally located at R22, this immediate lake area has tons of room for water skiing, tubing and
wakeboarding without feeling crowded by other boats or narrow coves. We are within Walking
five minutes to the Virginia Dare Marina for a cold beverage, good food, live music, and an
opportunity to gas up the boat. Wrap up your day by roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and
sitting on the deck to stargaze.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful lakefront home. Perfect place for a long weekend or a week or two during your summer vacation. The property is close to local amenities. The lot has a relatively gentle slope down to the lakefront. The boat dock is outstanding. The property gets the morning Sun and the sun rises our spectacular.

It is a nice home in a nice location. Well-equipped kitchen. And inside was clean. Check in and out was easy. I liked having the small grocery not too far. The pool table was awesome. Luckily we brought our floating dock to tie up so we could play in the water easier. The water level is significantly lower than the dock. Loved paddle boarding in this area. Great for families.The downside was that the outside needs TLC. I felt nobody had been there in a while to prepare the house. Maybe we were the first to rent for the season. We had to kill many wasps inside and outside. About a dozen or more. Dead ones in the carpets. The house and dock need power washing to knock down some of the wasp nests and to remove mud from the lower patio where the kayaks were. I say this because we are there to use the outside areas and a lot of it wasn’t clean or needed repair. Overall, our family did have a fun weekend here.

The lake was beautiful and the location was wonderful. The home was clean and inviting and it was great to be able to bring the dogs. We loved having all the great water toys available to us. We rented a boat and it was nice to be able to have it right at the dock. The downside was the exterior maintenance.

We loved our stay at Smith Mountain Lake! The house was in the perfect location for swimming, tubing, kayaking and easy boat access, with the marina conveniently close by. It was the perfect size and had all the amenities we needed. Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, though the bedrooms and living areas could use a bit more attention from the cleaning crew. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This beautiful home has an amazing view of the lake and all the amenities you could possibly need. We stayed there as a family of 4 along with my parents and dog. All were comfortable in great beds, and all had their own space when desired. Great central spaces for gathering as well. Excellent and supportive communication from Anne!! We really enjoyed our vacation here. We would vacation in this home again. It is well, equipped, clean, beautiful view, and lots of natural light. It was an ideal spot for all of our fun activities… Biking, hiking, kayaking, and dog walking. The owner, Anne was very responsive.

Amazing Vacation!

SML is our absolute favorite place to be and spending a week in this beautiful house made our vacation even better! Every room was perfectly decorated and made us feel like we were at home. Plenty of games and room to spread out for everyone! There were clear instructions for check in and check out and our host was quick to respond with any questions we had.
