The private upper deck has turquoise Adirondack chairs, a dining table for six to eight with umbrella, and unobstructed Gulf views from an elevated position — the outdoor living room that guests describe as the reason they come back. Valhalla

Upstairs was completely remodeled in September 2025, and the deck is where the transformation is most visible.
The September 2025 renovation opened the interior with a wall of French doors connecting the living room directly to the upper deck. The living room is 13'8" x 20'10" — a royal blue velvet sectional, dramatic white exposed beam ceiling, decorative fireplace, and a large smart TV. Gulf views throughout. The kitchen was completely redesigned with gray shaker cabinets, geometric floral backsplash, white quartz countertops, and a center island with bar seating — plus a dishwasher added specifically at guest request. The dining area has a round glass-top table with vintage honey wicker chairs seating six, with French doors opening to the upper deck.

Three bedrooms sleep five. The primary suite has a king bed with an en-suite spa-style bathroom — sage-green double-sink vanity, walk-in shower with pebble tile floor. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The third bedroom has one twin bed. A hall bathroom with tub and shower serves both guest rooms. Smart TVs in every room. LVP flooring throughout. A stacked washer and dryer is in a hallway closet.

The patch of beach in front of Valhalla is essentially private — upper-level exterior stairs deliver quick beach access without the crowds of public access points. Publix, Walgreens, restaurants, and the free island trolley are within walking distance.

One small pet is welcome with a $150 non-refundable fee.
Valhalla Upstairs requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for three vehicles.

Peeling paint, very dirty throughout, broken ceramic tile, missing towel bars, shower door held closed by tape, wall paneling bowing and mildew smell. Very disappointed in the overall experience of paying so much for such a run down property. The location on the beach is perfect which is what made it bearable. We didn't spend that much time in the house as compared to the outdoor time. The covered deck is great and the views are amazing.

We brought my mother in law who does not go to the beach much anymore for her birthday. She sat out on the beach since it was so close. The unit was very clean and had recent updates of appliances and furnishings. We had a wonderful time !

No need for a cooler because you can literally go to the kitchen to grab a cold beverage. If you want to explore a car is nice but if all you want is a beach vacation everything is in walking distance. Groceries, Walgreens, alcohol, select restaurants, coffee shop, hardware store, beach rentals are ALL walking distance. Your patch of beach is essentially private, always an area for you out front. Furnishings are nice, washer/dryer is great, condition of unit is older. Some paint is pealing. Bathrooms are nice but water pressure in guest bath is bad, master pressure is GREAT. Rent house nextdoor and unit below for large group, would be perfect.
