Very nice place to relax on a vacation. Owners are obviously detailed and thoughtful as there is everything you could need and more. nicely appointed with mounts from owner's hunts. Location convenient to what you may need but secluded enough for a relaxing stay! Thanks!
This cozy Duplex was perfect for what we needed! The only down side was our stay was so short 😜 very accommodating with 3 bedrooms- the most amazing couch and free wifi which was a must for our 8 year old 😜
It was quiet and very clean! Beds are comfy and I love the Alaskan feel! Will definitely stay here again!
Oooh! Best part- the owner is very responsive to messages!

About the host
Your host
Born and raised here in Soldotna, my grandparents used to have a sawmill. Most of my family has built from their own logs. After one excruciating summer of my dad attempting to make salmon jerky in my mom's oven, I swore off salmon for the next 15 years.
The hubby was born in Oregon, but raised up here. His hunting began with frogs that his mom would find in his pockets, but has turned it into one of the most amazing, appreciative, and ethical practices I've seen. He has been learning to do his own taxidermy and has an impressive method of seasoning and creating sausages. Apparently it's proprietary :)
Why they chose this property
It's set up to be functional! AND it's close to Fred Meyers for groceries.
When we were still dating, we lived here in Unit A. So we knew exactly what items we needed to leave for guests - and upgraded several things along the way.
What makes this property unique
There's a washer, dryer, and dishwasher available. The TV is hooked up to our guest Amazon Prime account. We try to keep oil and common seasonings on hand. There are some little extras for cooking, like some tupperware and tin foil or baggies.
The parking area can easily accommodate 2 vehicles. There is no garage access at this time.
