Cozy Oceanview Hideaway 1&2 on Golf Course/Airport
This newly remodeled duplex is situated on Shelter Cove Golf Course next to the airstrip and has a clear view of the Pacific Ocean. Each unit can accommodate 5 people and has separate entrance with a private deck facing the Ocean. Perfect for vacation with your extended family or a large group of friends. The property is centrally located in Shelter Cove making any beach, gallery or restaurant a walking distance.
Unit 1: 2-story 1100 sq ft townhome with open space on the 1st floor that includes sitting/TV, dining area, half bath and a well-equipped kitchen with brand new appliances. Staircase with handrail leads you to the 2nd floor with 2 bedrooms (bedroom 1 with king, bedroom 2 with queen and twin beds). There is a full bathroom with a shower on a second floor. Roku TV in each bedroom and a living area to keep up with your favorite TV series and movies.
Unit 2: this is identical in lay out and sq footage to Unit 1 townhome.
Each unit has 1 car garage with washer and dryer, extra freezer to stock up on your daily catch of fish, set of golf clubs and 4 bicycles to cruise around town. Front decks are private and equipped with barbeques.
Shelter Cove is a remote fishing town perfect for walks, bike rides and scenic drives. This neighborhood is very quiet with deer families visiting frequently.
Shelter Cove remains one of the most secluded places on the coast. It may take some extra effort to get here, but it's definitely worth it. Shelter Cove does not have public transportation or ride sharing. All major amenities are within walking distance.
Nearby amenities include: Gyppo Brewery and Restaurant is right down the street (4 min walk), Shelter Cove RV Campground store and Deli (0.25 mile), Shelter Cove General Store (2.3 mile), Delgada Pizza and Bakery (4 min drive, 18-minute walk), Venezuelan Restaurant (4 min drive, 18 min walk). Scenic nearby destinations include Cape Mendocino Lighthouse (5-minute walk), Black Sands beach (5 min drive, 20-minute walk). There is a short distance to South entrance of King Range National Conservation area and North entrance of Sinkyone Wilderness State Park with miles of hiking trails (and some bike trails) including the world-famous Lost Coast Trail.
Feel like driving a little further and seeing more of Humboldt County? Avenue of the Giants is a historic drive along the world-famous Redwood trees, some of which are over 1000 years old. You can also drive through a Redwood Tree at the Myers Flat drive-thru tree. Visit the historic Benbow Inn for a fancy dinner just about one hour from Shelter Cove.
Shelter Cove is one of the most underused Fishing Spots in California with some of the Best Variety of Fishing: Albacore, Halibut, Salmon, Rock cod, Lingcod, Crab and more!!! There are charter fishing trips with unique experience offered in Shelter Cove. Boat ramp and fish cleaning station are also available at the Cove beach.
