We needed to request check-in instructions on our way to the property, but the property manager replied right away with them. The location was great for our visit to Palo Duro Canyon. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Many dishes were dirty and we had to wash them before we could use them, but the kitchen was well supplied and we had what we needed. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend.
This house was perfect while taking care of our newly enrolled TAMU student! Very close to campus and easy to get to. House was clean and comfortable. Master bed was a little squeaky when getting up in the middle of the night, but bed very comfortable. Hot tub was great.
We were looking for a place to stay for WT orientation and this place was perfect. It's close to campus, less than a mile, clean, cozy and felt like home. Not to mention affordable. The manager/owner was quick and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again.
In town to visit the kiddo at WT and this place was perfect. Close to school, clean, just as described, great communication. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub but will definitely be booking this place again.
This place is super cute and cozy!! We loved the 2 bedroom, 2 bath that was so close to campus! I would love to stay again but some things need to be taken care of. We didn’t have our welcome info upon arrival so we had to sit outside for a while late at night. There was not much TP or any washcloths/hand towels upon arrival either. We also dealt with the light issue someone else mentioned. We also didn’t have ANY wifi for our entire stay, which meant no access to TV for 3 nights. Hoping these cleaning & communication issues will be taken care of because it’s a great place!
We had a brief, one night stay here. The place was clean and had all the things we needed - towels, soap, toilet paper, cups, coffee maker, etc... even some snacks!
There was an issue with the ceiling fans and lights. Possibly, it was user error, but we could not figure out how to run the fans individually. When we would turn one on in one room, it would affect the fan in the other room. Also, the barn door style bathroom doors would not stay closed. Thankfully, one of the men in our group found the mechanical issue and fixed it. But all in all, a pleasant stay.
House was nice and clean. 2 good size bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. Perfect for what we needed it for. Only complaint is that both showers were stopped up. Kinda led me to believe that maybe showers are not being cleaned after each rental because if so, I would assume that whoever cleans them wouldn’t noticed the water that stays stopped up in the tub when the water is turned on. I grabbed a qtip and started to dig out a whole bunch of hair causing the clog in one of the showers. Kinda gross but it helped tremendously. Wasn’t as successful in the master restroom. Nothing that a bottle of drano won’t fix for both tubs. Other than that I’d still rent here again. AC was nice and cool. Property owner even had coffee and other snacks available. Beds were comfortable and stay was enjoyable. :)
The property was clean and neat with modern decor. The beds and linens were comfy and the shower had plenty of towels and a soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser on the shower wall. The kitchen was easy to cook in and prepare a few light meals. The master bedroom and living room had newer, LG smart TV's allowing a person to log into Netflix. The location was quiet and convenient. The hot tub looked nice and new but we didn’t use it (the water looked a little murky but was probably fine). We needed to stay an additional night and property manager Sheree was quick and responsive with sending me a link to make the booking.
A few things that could use improvement:
Check-in communication: We never received any check-in info. The day before our arrival, I sent a message through the Vrbo app asking for the info. I sent another message shortly before our arrival but no response. After arriving at the property at 4:40 (check-in is 4), I called and left a message with property manager Sheree. She called back within a couple minutes and apologized for not getting us the check-in info. We were then able to enter the property.
There was only one hand soap dispenser for the house - and it was almost empty. So we had to carry it from bathroom to bathroom and the kitchen.
We needed an iron but could only find the box that the iron came in (a previous guest may have taken the iron).
These are minor issues and we would be happy to stay at the property again in the future and would recom
