Spacious Higgins lake cabin Sam o set

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Short walk to Sam-0-set beach, quick drive to south state park! House sits on a quiet family friendly dirt road with little traffic. Fire pit, deck, bbq grill, plenty of yard space for fun and games! Laundry on site, no need to over pack!

First floor laundry, kitchen, living room, full bath and 1 bedroom. Upstairs, two bedrooms and one full bath

The garage will be locked. Guest have access to all other spaces.
Other things to note
The house has not been child proofed. There are no gates for stairs, outlet covers, etc. it is family friendly, but you will need to bring your own safety devices if needed. We are able to accommodate up to 10 guest. Price is good for 6 guest. If you would like to book up to 10 guest there will be a change request based on amount of guest. 25 a night extra per guest.

Roomy & Comfortable for family vacation

The property is spacious, clean and perfect for a large family. The kids loved the bunk room. Space for all four of them to sleep and then decent room to play as well. It is walkable to the beach but you’ll need a wagon to hold your things as it’s about a 10 min walk. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Peaceful Higgins Lake Getaway

We really enjoyed our time in this Higgins Lake cabin. The cabin is on a nice lot with mature trees, a fire pit, and outdoor lighting. The deck is large with plenty of seating available to enjoy the outdoors. The neighborhood is quiet with very little traffic. The cabin is a short walk from the lake where there is a nice shared beach/park area. Inside the cabin has everything you need for a short or extended stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with the basics and some very handy extras (crockpot, airfryer, etc). We had a great stay and look forward to returning in the future!

In town for family reunion and the house was only a few minutes away from the reunion site. House was clean. Owner quickly responded to questions. Brought a pack and play for the infant and there wasn’t a good place to set up in bedrooms

An Excellent Place to Stay

Me and my friends had a wonderful time here. House was clean and in good condition, and all appliances were in good shape and functional. House is located in a very good location right near Higgins Lake and about 15-20 minutes away from Houghton Lake by car. Also, the owner was very friendly and reasonable and was easy to get in contact with. Overall, me and my friends were highly satisfied with our arrangement and we would suggest it to any other party looking for a vacation at Higgins Lake.

4th of July family vacation

Our family spent this long weekend of the 4th of July here. It was nice, but some of the common use items needs to be cleaned and maintained. The outside of the home needs a good cleaning, including the deck and deck furniture. Bathrooms and bedrooms were very well cleaned and managed. We had a good time, but some small improvements are necessary.
