The house was PERFECT for our family (kids 4-11). It was clean and cozy. We loved all the kids books/games that were there. Our stay was excellent- it made for a great visit to Bar Harbor- would definitely stay here again.
House was clean, comfortable, and spacious. It was conveniently located both to Bar Harbor and to lots of hiking in the park which was why we came. Went hiking everyday. Nice little patio out back overlooking some woods - enjoyed a few beers there! Some cute restaurants not too far away. Enjoyed our stay.
Not directly in Bar Harbor, but close enough to it an Acadia for you to enjoy everything with a quick drive. Bonus that there's a seafood and pie shack within easy walking distance!
We loved staying here! It is a great set-up for a family. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, silverware, etc. Great location. Centrally located so that many places on the island were a short drive. We would stay here again.
Great property away from the hustle of Bar Harbor. Quiet neighborhood. House is nicely decorated and exactly as advertised. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time at the property. It was clean, open, and had everything we could possibly need. We came as a family, with my husband and two children (2.5 yo and 8 mo). The neighborhood was quiet and a great place to which to retreat after being in the bustle of Bar Harbor. Drive to downtown Bar Harbor and the various hikes was ~15-25 minutes. Would definitely stay again!
Our family of six had an amazing stay. Emily, the host, answered all our questions before we arrived. And the home was well appointed. They thought of everything. And we loved that it’s in a cute little neighborhood. So while it was not in the busy part of town, it also wasn’t isolated. We loved it!
Clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and sweet touches throughout the house made it feel like my home away from home.
The window A/C in each bedroom made it comfortable at all times throughout the day. A plethora of books and games made our evenings feel like home.
Thank you for sharing your home with us, Emily.
Our family of 4 had a wonderful, relaxing, comfortable stay! Our host, Emily, was excellent with answering questions before booking to helping us during our visit. Her recommendations of restaurants and hikes were perfect, and the house was just right for our adult family. The kitchen is well equipped with fun/helpful appliances that made cooking easy after returning from our Acadia adventures (Ninja blender, electric fondue pot, and Instant pot!). Emily was also quick to fix and replace the refrigerator during our stay. The location is good, with roughly +/- 20-minute drives in Mount Desert Island. All in all, a wonderful holiday that my family and I hope to repeat in the future!
