Escape to Your Stylish Bungalow Steps from the National Park
Welcome to our beautiful home! Nestled in the heart of New River Gorge National Park, our spacious three-bedroom house is the perfect retreat for groups or families visiting the area.
We've recently renovated the space with all new furniture and mid-century modern pieces, making it stylish and comfortable. As this is our residence during the off-season, you'll find everything you need to cook delicious meals in our fully equipped kitchen, including appliances, utensils, coffee, and tea.
The open floor plan is perfect for hosting groups, as you can cook, dine, and relax together in the same space. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all have large windows that flood the house with natural light, creating a clean and bright atmosphere. Plus, the back bedroom features a projector and Fire Stick, allowing you to stream movies and shows on the big screen.
Our home has three cozy bedrooms, including one combined living room and office space. The bedroom closest to the front door features a comfortable queen-size bed, while the other two bedrooms have full-size beds. Each bedroom is attached to a full-sized bathroom stocked with fresh towels, soap, and shampoo.
One of the unique features of our home is that you'll need to walk through at least one bedroom to access a bathroom, so please keep that in mind when booking. We also ask that you only use plant-based soaps, shampoos, and detergents, as we're on a septic system.
We're just a short walk from the Swiftwater General Store, where you can stock up on essentials, get a warm breakfast or lunch, or grab a coffee. And if you're rafting or adventuring with Adventures on The Gorge, you're in luck, as they're within walking distance from the house.
Plus, we're just a 5-minute drive from downtown Fayetteville, where you'll find a variety of dining options, including Pies and Pints Pizza, Rangefinder Coffee, Wood Iron Eatery, Cathedral Cafe, The Tap House, Freefolk Brewery, and Waterstone Outdoors. And if you need to work remotely while traveling, there's a desk in the back bedroom for your convenience.
We also have a shared garage gym that includes a squat rack, free weights, exercise bike, and a climbing wall that can be made available upon request. Just let us know, and we'll coordinate workout times accordingly.
Please note that we live on-site in a tiny house in the backyard, but we'll give you as much space and privacy as possible. However, if you need anything, we're just a short walk away.
Thank you for considering our home for your visit to New River Gorge National Park. We can't wait to host you!

This Bungalow was perfect for our family of 4, located just minutes from the New River Gorge visitors center. The house was extremely clean and within walking distance of a convenience store. We would stay here again.
This cute home is in the perfect location near Adventures on the Gorge and a short drive into Fayetteville for restaurants. The home was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend and would stay here again if in the area!
Very well maintained. We were so close to the Canyon Rim Visitors Center which we stopped at for more info. The AC worked great; beds were comfortable; shower was great!! Lovely rooms in this well-appointed home!
Fantastic location and nicely appointed! We didn’t realize that this place is literally next door to Adventures on the Gorge, so we signed up for white water rafting at the last minute, and had a great time. It’s also an easy walk to a convenience store, so it was easy to get basic groceries and supplies. The driveway is just a small gravel/grass circle, which was a little tricky for three motorcycles, but it was fine.
The house was spotless and just as pictured. Host was responsive with all inquiries very quickly. Great location for all activities in the New River Gorge National Park area.
This property was perfect for us - we wanted a home base to visit all that New River Gorge has to offer and this did not disappoint. We loved the cute house - very bright, very clean, and had lots of life (loved the plants). The owners were very responsive to all of our questions. I would definitely stay here again.
Close to New River Gorge national Park. Queen bed is too small. One of the central room was very small. I wish the bathrooms there were three. Rest I would say 5 star otherwise. They can definitely improve the parking place.
We loved our stay at this home! It was very close to all the the New River Gorge hiking and Fayetteville. We especially enjoyed the nearby general store’s coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Sitting on the porch swing and reading from their book collection was another highlight. Thanks again for being our base for an excellent weekend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was as described...very clean and cozy...comfortable beds...great vibes! Our son loved having access to the climbing wall in the garage gym. Even though the owners have other living quarters on the property, the house was very private with sufficient window coverings. Kristie was very respondive to messages. We would definitely stay again!
Great proximity to New River Gorge bridge and the Canyon Rim visitor center along with Adventures on the Gorge resort. Easy walk to Swift General store (no sidewalks). Easy drive into Fayetteville. The house itself works nicely for 2 people who enjoy their own space (2 rooms with en-suite bathrooms) along with a 3rd bedroom in between. Clean house with 60’s vibe furniture and fun, funky wall projector for streaming entertainment.
We had a great stay at this bungalow with our 2 kids (8 & 11). It was literally minutes from the bridge and downtown Fayetteville. The location worked great for us to explore the north edge of the park, we really enjoyed the long point hike for amazing views of the bridge. We also really liked hiking Endless Wall which was only a 15 minute drive. These ended up being the highlights of our trip! The house was perfect, cute and cozy. We enjoyed having a fully stocked kitchen we could make breakfast in. We love our morning coffee and enjoyed the variety of coffee maker options (including an espresso machine!) and thought it was super thoughtful to have bags of coffee ready for us on the counter when we arrived! We also enjoyed the front porch and walking to the convinience store just a few houses away. Kristi was a great host! She sent a message to make sure we had everything we needed before and after check-in. We would def recommend staying here. We loved the modern decor, the plants & all of the amenities. We had a very comfortable and lovely stay. Thanks Kristi!
The house location can't be beat. everything was within walking distance be it the new river bridge, hiking trails, ziplines or the local convenient store which has the best breakfast you can get for under 10. The house was lovely, very spacious, it also had a great projector for when you want to wind down after a long day of hiking. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely plan on coming back. Thank you for letting me stay.
