Sunset Cabin is a lakefront one bedroom chalet with an open loft and rustic-meets-modern finishes. It has one bedroom, 3 queen beds, remodeled kitchen, bathroom with shower and a gas fireplace. The pebble beach is just off the deck where you can enjoy the view, take the canoe out for a paddle around the lake and take in the gorgeous sunsets! Please note that guests are required to complete the rental agreement attached, along with the 2 ID items listed on page 3 of the agreement within 24 hours of booking.

Lovely cabin in a very quiet neighborhood. Amazing sunset views over the lake. Loved the cabin, I could stay here for much longer! We had everything we needed, and the kitchen was well equipped. Neighbors are quite friendly, enjoyed talking with them.

We had such a wonderful stay at this lake house! The views were beautiful, the home was comfortable and welcoming, and the beds were comfy. We loved spending time swimming in the lake and especially enjoyed meeting the neighbors and getting to know the area. It was the perfect place to relax and make some great family memories. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was great! We loved the beach front location. We fished from the dock but caught more fish in the canoe about 30-40 yards out from the dock!We didn’t use the barbecue as we noticed only one burner on the left side appeared to be working. The neighbor was very friendly and gave us some history about the lake. The upstairs area has fantastic views of the lake!

Absolutely beautiful cabin. I love lake Nahwatzel!!! Will definitely book this cabin again. I can continue to relive my childhood summers at the lake!! The view from the cabin is perfect. Nice dock. Grandkids had a blast!!

Great deck with beautiful view of the lake. Grill was practically like new which I really appreciated. Brought kayaks and caught plenty of fish mostly in deep water, but also brought some in from the dock which was in excellent shape. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare meals and the washer and dryer came in handy after finishing on the lake.

Lake house

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The lake was great and we really enjoyed being able to use the canoe. Fishing was great and we had all of the amenities we needed.

Peaceful and Memorable

Very clean and well equipped Good WifiComfortable furniture The deck is nice for eating or getting some sun And the veiw of the lake is amazing especially late in the afternoon.I would love to come again sometime.

Great place

We had a great time swimming and fishing. The beds are so comfortable. I would love to know what kind of mattress you have. We would love to make this an annual trip.

Can't wait to go back

We had the best time. The cabin was very nice and clean. The cabin had everything needed for a great stay. Great communication with our host. We had a great time fishing and swimming. We will definitely be back and next time it will be more than 4 days.

Sunset Cabin

My family and I have stayed ay Grampys Cabin twice and now the Sunset Cabin. Both are amazing to stay at. This year was our first at the Sunset Cabin. Our favorite aspeect was the beach access. Being able to just walk right out of the house and be right onto the lake was perfect. We will continue to make this our annual vacationtrip..

Again, we had a wonderful stay. Four years going up to Lake Nahwatzel. My family an I have made this our new summer vacation spot. I highly recommend it. The access to the water ia literally right out the doorstep. It's warm and not busy. We'll e going back again. Thank you!!

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. There were a few concerns- the BBQ was not clean and it was difficult to start. The owner may want to invest in a new one. There was broken glass on the beach - fortunately we were wearing shoes so no injuries but someone should look into that. The place needs a good clean (dust, fingerprints). Otherwise it was a great place for a family vacation.

Amazing Spot! 100 percent

Our trip to Washington would not have been complete without staying at the Sunset cabin. Everything in the cabin was so convenient and easily located. It had all the supplies necessary for our family of five with three small children to enjoy a week at the lake. Its proximity to both Olympic national Park and Mount Rainier national Park made it a great central spot for us to visit both locations. The lake was beautiful and having access to a canoe at our stay allowed our girls to enjoy the fishing and swimming aspect. The beds were super comfortable and access to both a washer and dryer during our stay made the day to day activities streamlined. We were able to visit so many cool locations during the day and come home to enjoy afternoon activities on the lake.

A lovely lake

There was some confusion following booking. The property management company requires extra paperwork to be signed outside of Vrbo that was not clearly called out during booking. Under threat of cancellation, we agreed to sign. But really this is something the owners should work out with Vrbo rather than the renters.

The view is exceptional! The place was clean upon arrival and well appointed and everything worked properly. While there, I was working remotely and the WiFi did the job. It was windy, so I did not get to take out the canoe for the purposes of fishing, but did catch 5 modestly sized bass right from the dock. Overall, it was an excellent and relaxing experience.
