Welcome to our Up North home away from home in beautiful, quiet Roscommon, Michigan! We have been avid VRBO renters and now are able to share our family vacation getaway with you. If you’re looking for a welcoming, family and pet friendly cabin, this is your stopping place.

Relax and unwind with the whole family in this peaceful, secluded, cabin in the woods. Surrounded by nature, very private, 10 acre, wooded area yet less than a 10 minute drive to Roscommon. Property is located within 10 min from public access to Ausable River (fishing and kayaking), 20 min to Higgins Lake, 25 min to Houghton Lake, 5 min to Forest Dunes Golf Club, 20 min to Hanson Hills Skiing Park, lots of trails for hiking, snowmobile, and atv's. This is a great place to spend time away and get back to the basics.

Plan a day trip to beautiful Traverse City, Petosky, or Suttons Bay to start.

Fully stocked kitchen with all the stuff you need. Including coffee pot and filters, air fryer, toaster, blender and crockpot.

The garage is off limits for guests. But there is plenty of room for vehicles and atv trailers with a large circular driveway.

Keep in mind you’re in the woods and may see a bug or two. We do spray for critters, ticks, fleas, and mosquitos around the property and try our very best to manage it.

There is a bonfire pit with wood available for purchase on property, lawn chairs, horse shoes, propane grill, and picnic table for your evenings of unplugged family and friend time. Don’t leave fire in pit unattended & distinguish before retiring for the night. Please respect our property as you would your own and don’t leave garbage scattered outside.

Your family pets are considered, dogs only. Breed and number of dogs are taken into account. Weight not to exceed 50lbs. We do ask that you please crate your dog when the dog is left alone inside the home. Please clean up any doggie messes outside. There will be an additional fee for excess dog mess around the cabin. There is a trash can, bags, and scooper provided. An additional fee of $100.00 will be assessed for an undisclosed dog.

We do have WIFI and tv’s in the living room and each bedroom. There are cameras on the outside of the property for obvious security purposes. There are no cameras inside the house itself.

There is no smoking inside the cabin and please do not leave butts on the ground outside. An additional fee will be charged for any smoking inside of cabin and butts and or garbage left on the grounds.

Excessive cleanup and/or failure to follow checkout procedures may result in forfeiture of all or part of security deposit.
