Approx 2000 square feet of Luxury Home with 440 sf Deck/Lanai overlooking the blue pacific. The in ground saltwater pool is perfect with fountain, waterfall, big covered pool room with propane BBQ. perfect relaxation.

WATCH THE WHALES right in front of the home Nov to April.even hear their songs at night. The oceanfront is magnificent. Although the ocean fronting the home is not suitable for swimming.

THIS is not a normal vacation home. IT is our home and we strive to make it an experience you will always cherish. Total comfort and luxury amongst tropical oceanfront serenity.

The tax is based on the tax rate when you come, so tax price may be adjusted if there is a change in the tax at the time of your stay.

This is a perfect place for a getaway from the busy life. House was very spacious and pool was beautiful. The only thing I would recommend would be an automated gate system because going in and out of the house with it pouring rain is not ideal. It can get really dark at night so bring some headlamps so you can see if you plan on leaving the house and arriving after sunset.

The road to the house can get busy on this road. Can fit 1 car but you will need to veer off to the dirt/gravel at times for oncoming traffic.

Four of us stayed at Kai Malolo for two weeks. We had a wonderful time. The home is spacious and light with spectacular views of the ocean. We watched whales from the lanai. The pool was exceptional and we spent several days just hanging out enjoying the ocean breezes and the pool. Management was very responsive whenever we had any issues. The day after Kilauea erupted they came and pressure washed around the house to remove any ash and Pele's hair. This is the perfect home for a relaxing, private Hawaiian adventure.

Truly the most amazing place I have ever had the opportunity to stay. The privacy was lovely. We enjoyed having a pool to ourselves and the whole property is so beautiful! Even the drive through the forest to get there- it felt nice and secluded with nature everywhere. Easy drive to beaches and VNP! This was our first time visiting the big island and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else! Would love to come back and stay here again someday.

We had a magical, restorative stay at Kai Malolo. The house is beautiful, and the location is breathtaking. The house has everything you may need (and more!) to cook all of your meals at home, and is clearly cared for. Terry provided lots of recommendations, which was great! It’s in a very peaceful and quiet location, and you can drive to Pāhoa or Hilo very easily from there. If you are looking for a non-tourist experience, this is your place. We would most definitely stay here again - it was so hard to leave!

Amazing secluded retreat. Enjoyed the pool and extras provided. Walk to cliffs was fun. Beautiful views, saw a handful of sea turtles swimmingby the shore. Nicely decorated house with great views from inside and on lanai. Beautiful sunrise view from the rocks, worth catching it. The most unique place we've stayed. Absolutely loved it.

AMAZING SPOT!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at this place! Starting from the drive into the house through a mystical beautiful forest, the cliffs behind the house are a such a lovely way to start the day, the great lanai to watch the ocean and hear the waves crashing and all of it! Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, water was hot, A/C is only in the living room (rooms all have a fan). We liked the nearby town of Pahoa a lot (check out the thai place on the main street). Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful location by the ocean

We had a wonderful stay. The house is located on a beautiful one lane road along the coast. There is a path leading down to the ocean, but you can see the spray of the waves hitting the cliffs from the house. The house was great. The kitchen was well equipped. When you open the windows a cool breeze blows through. The lanai was spacious.

We are quiet people and like being away from tourist places. This home was perfect! The views are beautiful, the breeze delightful and had everything we needed.
