Fantastic Gulf Front Condo


Owners have updated this immaculate 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo, located in gulf front Bldg 2 of the Mainsail resort. The living room has cozy furniture with a pull out couch, but the eye catching view of the gulf steals the show.
We have a denim sofa sleeper with upgraded mattress and matching loveseat . We have also just added a two new flat screen TVs. Also new family room tables and lamps. The master bedroom has a king bed with classic furniture and includes a private bath and access to the balcony. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and is tastefully decorated in the nautical style. Two bathrooms, updated tile floors, a fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer unit are just some of the many additional features this unit offers.

This sixth floor unit has spectacular views of the gulf, the pool and the white sandy beaches Destin is famous for. Relax on the balcony overlooking the beach or take a short walk to the beach to dip your toes in the water.

Mainsail is a wonderful family friendly resort located directly on the beach - no streets to cross. If 700' of private beach are not enough, Mainsail also has 2 pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, a workout facility and game room. The community grills are very popular with families. Mainsail is minutes from golfing, boating, water parks, parasailing and many fine restaurants. Silver Sands Outlet Mall is a short walk away.

There is 24 hour security with patrols and a gated entrance. No pets allowed and no smoking.

Great Location!

Fantastic location and the included beach chairs were an unbelievable help. The property could use a few updates and a little TLC, but all in all it was a great stay.

Awesome!

Condo was awesome! Exceeded our expectations and the kitchen cabinets were fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking and grilling. Brand new TV in the living room with excellent channel selections. The owner was excellent to communicate with and is super nice! We will definitely stay in this condo again! We have been coming to Mainsail every year since 2003 and we will be back again in 2026!

I go to the panhandle yearly over 20 years! Love the sandy white beaches and the Emerald Ocean water in the Gulf of America! I have been to numerous condos along the way. Mainsail in Miramar Beach was my most recent! Everything conveniently close from Fort Walton Beach to Panama City to see Dolly Partons new venture Pirates of the Caribbean! Mainsail is secluded and very well safe and secure place to stay! The view was outstanding of the beach and pool! But most important was the courtesy of the owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! The unit was VERY clean absolutely the best I have ever had in my past stays in the Panhandle area! I would highly recommend Mainsail for your next vacation! I most definitely will be back!

Wonderful

We enjoyed the unit and the beach. I wish there was a pantry or some place to store food. The front load washing machine needs a good cleaning as it leaves a smell in the clothes after washing.

Love Mainsail

We have stayed at Mainsail many times with a family member who is an owner there. First time renting. We love Mainsail. The room was nice and clean. Could use a little attention on some areas of wear on the walls, baseboards,etc but the room was well supplied with things that assist in having a great time plus it came with a beach umbrella and chairs setup! We had lots of fun!

Great location and beach service included is a super plus. Overall, for the price the condo is nice and all the basics are there. Condo could definitely use some upgrading especially in the kitchen and bath area. Careful with bedroom furniture because the drawers are broken. Condo does not provide soap so be sure to bring that and a roll of paper towels as there was only like 5 paper towels left in the roll when we got there. not quite the 5 stars boasted in the reviews but will make for a nice stay with the family.

Beautiful view, easy beach access and condo was equipped with everything we needed. Not sure why they picked spring break to pressure wash and paint the exterior of the property to include the balcony, but other than that we truly enjoyed our stay.

The condo is nice and met our needs. The property at Mainsail has a nice pool, tennis courts and the beautiful view of the Gulf! I think the cleaning service could have done better. I also think some fresh paint and minor repairs could really help also

Simple, clean and everything you need

This condo is great. It has everything you need and was very clean. The beach is amazing and the chair and umbrella service are great. The pool is also fun. Could the place use updating? Probably. Does it take anything away from the vacation? Absolutely not! We will be returning to this Mainsail condo in the future!

2021 Spring Break

Really enjoyed Mainsail 266. Although there was construction work, it was as advertised. Great location and beach. Cozy condo. A few things in the condo could be upgraded, but that is being picky! Really enjoyed our family vacation!

So fun!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here. The view is great and very close to the beach. We had trouble accessing the unit the first day but the owner responded quickly and we were inside in no time.

Family Stay!

We had a great stay. They are doing construction ALL ALONG the main highway entering and leaving Destin, so the traffic was absolutely terrible. Otherwise, I'm sure this is peak location. The property manager went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Updates needed

Love the area. Mainsail complex is showing its age. Dingy exterior and issues with fire alarms. The alarms sounded probably a dozen times during our stay. The condo also needs work. Plaster on wall at entrance door has broken off. Fridge and stove are rusted. I'll stay at Mainsail again, but in a different unit unless this one is updated.
