Built in 1892 with original hardwood oak floors in the main area of the home. Walk or bike to Lake MI beautiful Stearns Beach and spend a lovely day swimming and soaking up the sun. Stay for the gorgeous Lake MI sunset and watch the Badger Car Ferry return from Manitowic to Ludington. Spend a lovely evening grilling in the enclosed private gardens with hot tub & gas grill, 2 min walk to town to great local restaurants and entertainment. explore famous Ludington State Park and Nordhouse Dunes. Enjoy a lovely evening in the screen porch (aka Green Room) Sleep with open windows and enjoy the lovely Lake MI breeze out on the landscaped patio. I first came here as a young woman in 1971 and that's when I fell in love with Ludington. Now it's my great pleasure to share my home with you so maybe you can make your own memories here.
Why they chose this property
I wanted to be close the beach on Lake Michigan while also being a stone's throw from downtown to walk to House Of Flavors or one of the many tasty restaurants in town.
What makes this property unique
It was originally built in 1892, but I have made my own upgrades and additions to the house since I first purchased it 19 years ago. This is a great place for a modest family or a group of friends to have an enjoyable vacation getaway.
