About this property
Porchview historic downtown cottage
Great 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath and Downtown Location, Central Air, Sleeps 9.
The historic PorchView Cottage has been in our family for over 60 years and has undergone a recent interior remodel. The house is perfectly situated, just one block east of Hancock St. It’s in the very heart of downtown Pentwater, and walking distance to our small local grocery store, miniature golf, and all the town’s quaint restaurants and shops.
The home is a historic treasure and sits on a large, fenced lot with parking for two cars. There is additional parking on the street.
Inside, the kitchen is full of light with bright cabinets and new appliances. There are two bedrooms on the main level. One bedroom has one set of queen bunk beds and an additional set of single bunk beds. The other bedroom has a queen bed.
The living room is styled with mid-century modern furniture. There is a small bathroom downstairs with storage and a shower/tub. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with queen beds, and one bathroom with a tub/shower. The house has an outdoor dining table, wi-fi, a smart TV, and central air.
We welcome nine guests in our house, and allow a maximum of 14 people visiting at any time. It is incredibly important to respect our neighbors, follow our good neighbor policies, and keep noise down after 10 pm. Dogs are also allowed for an additional pet fee.
Pentwater is a wonderful summer village, with weekly farmers markets, Thursday night concerts at the village green, and a stunning public beach.
Home is set up to bring your own linens. You will needs sheets and pillowcases for 5 Queen and 2 twin (2 queen are a bunk bed set and 2 twins are a bunk bed set), as well as bathroom and kitchen towels and washcloths. Alternatively, these can be added as guest option for additional fee.
Rents weekly Saturday to Saturday during the summer months and 3 night minimum early and late season
