AC, Family friendly, Walk to Town, Beach & Ferry

Located two blocks from the Town beach at Owen Little Way, our 4 bedroom/2.5 bath home is fully equipped for a relaxing Vineyard vacation. The house is within walking distance to two beaches and the harbor, as well as the shops, restaurants and galleries of downtown Vineyard Haven. The West Chop Lighthouse is just up the road and Lake Tashmoo Beach is only a short bike ride away. It is an ideal location for enjoying all that the Vineyard has to offer. The first floor is open and inviting, with a large living/family room and well-equipped kitchen surrounded by windows. The sunny dining room seats 8 (child seats and boosters are available). There is a half bath on this level. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and two full baths. There are two queen bedrooms (one en-suite), one room with two twin beds and a room with a single twin bed. The hall bath has a bathtub with shower; the bathroom in the master bedroom has a shower. The private backyard has an enclosed outdoor shower and a large shade tree. There is an outdoor dining set with a large umbrella, as well as Adirondack chairs, hammocks and a Weber charcoal grill. Beach chairs, sand toys and boogie boards are available. Plentiful linens, bath and beach towels are included in the rental. There is a HE washer and dryer in the basement. The house has two TVs, Roku and wireless internet. We have a wide variety of books, games and puzzles for children and adults. The house has numerous items for small children: a baby Eurobath, dining room boosters, a pack ‘n play, Kettler trikes and children’s dishes/cups/flatware. The house is clean and well maintained. Please note: From June through August our minimum stay is generally 7 days, with Saturday as the turnover day. However, please reach out if you'd like to arrive on a different day or stay for a shorter or longer period of time. We may be able to accommodate your request.

Vineyard vacation

Fall weekend getaway for 50 plus group

Perfect spot to walk into town. Well stocked kitchen, and a lovely back yard to enjoy the last bits of warmth for the year.

Great vacation in MV

Beautiful property located in Vineyard Haven. Close to town, comfy beds, clean kitchen and a great yard. Great reception and communication from the Host. Will definitely comeback.

Perfect location

Clean and comfy

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house is just charming and very well stocked. There was plenty of room for the four of us and a pack-n-play was provided for the baby. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the downtown. We enjoyed take out from several restaurants and it was an easy drive to nearby towns. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Martha’s Vineyard.

Super Host and Magical Home

Danae could not have been more accommodating. The house was perfectly stocked with kids amenities, it was cozy & very clean. I especially appreciated how organized the home was. The outdoor shower was a wonderful addition to our summer stay. We would absolutely rent this home again and plan to for next summer!

Perfect Vineyard Gem

We made our annual family trip with Grandma and our kids (party of 6). This was the perfect location and set up for the family. Walking distance to Main st and the water as well as parks for the kids. The house was just as described with everything you needed ti feel at home and to make your trip enjoyable (dishes, linen, toys, beach equipment). Communication with the owner was seamless. Thank you for everything. Look forward to visiting again!

Fully Equipped, Great Location.

I've never stayed at a property that was this well equipped. They had everything you would need - from kitchen pots, pans, cups, coffee makers, etc. to the outdoor beach chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas. Very nice location with a 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to downtown VH. The host was also exceptional in terms of communication. We did have some issue with the upstairs AC not working well for a couple nights and overall the AC could be stronger but host was very responsive and had someone come fix things as soon as I told her.

Great homebase for experiencing the Vineyard

The location of this house is perfect for a quick walk into Vineyard Haven or to the (small) local beach, or as a jumping off point for hopping into the car to explore the other parts of the island. Very well stocked kitchen and plenty of games and beach supplies. The only slight limitation was the outdoor set up - there's no outdoor lights so grilling or eating outside after the sunset isn't really doable. Considering we came during COVID, we ate nearly every dinner at the house, so this posed potentially more of a limitation than it likely would have in past seasons when eating out would have been more common. All in all, very pleasant accommodations that met our needs!

Great VH location

The house was in a fantastic location … 10-minute walk to all things Vineyard Haven. The house was very clean and exactly as reflected in the photos. The beds were a bit firm for my group’s taste, but all the linens were of very good quality. The binder in the living room was filled with lots of helpful recommendations and information. And, it was a very nice touch to provide two extra keys. The backyard is very spacious. The outdoor furniture could use a refresh - or at least a regular clearing of the cobwebs. The common areas were all spacious and easily accommodated our group. There is a wonderful assortment of games and books … truly something for everyone. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Marvelous Vineyard Stay...

This VRBO property was more that enough for two couples. It was charming, cozy and comfortable. It was clean and well stocked with towels, linens and a washer and dryer. The location was the perfect home base while we explored the entire island. The information book at the home proved very helpful and accurate as we enjoyed many recommended restaurants and sites. We were glad to have a car to take advantage of all of the very different parts of Martha's Vineyard but the Vineyard Haven shops and Ferry terminal were walkable from the property. We were not traveling with children, but the home was equipped to accommodate a family. We would highly recommend this location!

Great Weekend Trip!

This house was perfect for our Labor Day Weekend trip. We had more than enough space for the 4 of us guests. The house has tons of games and a huge backyard. We didn't know that this is in a "dry town," meaning there are no liquor stores. But, you are allowed a drink with a food item at local restaurants, and there are lots of neighboring towns you can reach by Uber or bike where drinking is welcomed! 10/10 would recommend this property!

Family friendly and walkable!

We had a very nice stay at this house. The property is well-stocked and super family friendly (lots of stuff for young kiddos!). The bedrooms/bathrooms are a little bit on the small side but worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults and two babies with competing nap schedules. So nice to be able to walk right into Tisbury as well. Danae was knowledgable, accommodating and very responsive. Thanks for a good stay!

Perfect Family Rental

Our 10 day stay in this lovely home was such an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The house was so well organized with all the amenities as advertised. It was perfect for our family with games, books, and plenty of space. Great walking distance to Vineyard Haven and two local beaches. Check-in and communication with property manager/owner was seamless and great. Lovely home to spend a rainy Memorial Day weekend.

Wonderful Vineyard home

We loved staying at this property! It was sparkling clean, beautifully light filled, and the best stocked home we’ve ever stayed in. The house was filled with everything we needed, tons of fun games, great books, everything you need for cooking a great meal, and lots of fresh linens. Danea was a wonderful hostess and quick to respond to any questions we had. When our car broke down she quickly helped us find a mobile repairman who was able to fix the car the next afternoon. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is a short walk to a small beach. We loved it there and would recommend it to anyone with a family!
