Villa: The villa is tastefully and above all very well equipped with air conditioning, heating and much more. In winter it is ideal for "remote working" for longer periods.

The special charm and authenticity of Villa Saudade (Brazilian for 'longing') lies in its elegance and location in the middle of the UNESCO nature park 'Parc Natural S'Albufera' (over 1947 ha) - only 5 km from the life of the capital Mahon. Here you can still have a holiday without being part of a row settlement. It goes without saying that the villa cannot be seen from any side.

Inside, the villa enchants with typical Menorcan details. For example, five coloured windows have been built into the roof ridge - an architectural tradition from Menorca - which make the whole house seem brighter. At sunset, these windows spread a wonderful coloured light. The front wall is clad in Menorcan natural stone.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped and has all the appliances that the ambitious hobby chef needs: a Liebherr stainless steel refrigerator with 1°C zone, Thermomix TM31, a 90 Smeg gas cooker, a stainless steel dishwasher from Miele, the Nespresso machine, sharp knives, etc. On the pool terrace there is a new high-end gas grill right next to the large dining table.

The two bathrooms are also equipped to a high standard and tastefully furnished with spacious shower baths, double washbasins and suspended toilets.

Of course, music should not be missing from such a dream home: Therefore, a SONOS system with 15 speakers is available indoors and outdoors.

The private garden with its old palm trees is only separated from the open countryside by a hedge. Twice a week the gardener comes and takes care of the pool and outdoor area. The veranda to the pool with a view over the reserve form the outdoor area of the house. As far as the horizon, at night you can see only scattered lights of houses - and above you only the starry sky. The pool has been complemented by a 60sqm wooden terrace. This offers the possibility to lie by the pool in the sun until early evening and gives the house a little maritime touch. You not only have the possibility to sit under palm trees, but also to eat delicious food at the gas barbecue. The outdoor shower with warm water is also a thankful detail, no matter if you just come sandy from the beach or spend the day at the pool. The carport rounds off the outdoor area.

So the villa not only offers absolute relaxation holidays, but is also an ideal holiday destination for families with children.

The beach can be reached by car in 5 minutes, and from the house you can go on short hikes into the nature reserve.

For ornithologists (bird watchers): Perfect for bird watching, the lagoon of S'Albufera, about 400m away, is the perfect resting place on the migration route of more than 200 different bird species on their way from Africa to Europe and vice versa. The biosphere reserve of the Es Grau lagoon is attractive for birdwatchers all year round. From November to March, however, the diversity of species is greatest, as many bird species from northern Europe find winter quarters here.
