Our host, his wife and father-in-law all made our stay wonderful. Unit 4 was clean, quiet, very easy to get around town being well located in Midtown. Any request was promptly addressed, unit had necessary amenities, and parking was easily accessed. Sidewalks shoveled promptly and garbage cans easy to get to. Really a wonderful unit with wonderful hosting family!!! Great place to stay!! Dec 15-31, 2025

Convenient and economical

This property is a spacious one bedrooom with a full kitchen and laundry close to downtown. The immediate neighborhood is one that I would not walk around but it is close to Walmart and other stores.

Great and comfortably appointed Anchorage ground floor apartment… no second floor above the rental.

Parking was a bit odd as you are asked to park in the place reserved for the unit… yet most evenings other cars were in it so I felt uncomfortable about having to park in an unnumbered spot adjacent to assigned spot. Great bathroom and kitchen amenities, sweet bed… owner cleared snow well. HIGHLY recommend… I was there for 15 days.

Cozy and Comfortable Stay

We stayed at this cute little spot for two nights, and it was perfect for our needs! Although we had a bit of trouble finding the place initially (it’s tucked away at the far end from the entrance, and it was dark by the time we arrived), once we found it, everything else was smooth sailing. The bedroom was cozy, and the bathroom had all the essentials we needed. We didn’t get the chance to use the kitchen or other facilities since we were mostly out and about, but it was great to have our own parking space. If you're looking for a comfortable place to sleep at night, this is a great option. We would definitely stay here again!

Good size for just me. Basics provided. Quite cold in bedroom at night. Several unfortunate communication experiences (ie. non responsive for days, zero arrival flexibility, and if I need help I’ll ask for it) but good enough for my overnight need.

Quiet, comfy apartment very centrally located.

The apartment was exactly as described, better even. The bed was comfy, the full sized stove was great, kitchen had great utensils/cookwear to use, and there were some supplies conveniently stocked in the cabinets to make life easier. Another plus was the washer/dryer in the unit to use. This place was really conveniently located within Anchorage and close to airport, stores, banks, gas stations, etc...but really quiet! One minor issue was if I slightly burned something on the stove or in the oven the smoke detector immediately went off, but then stopped quickly. Overall if I had a choice I would definitely stay here again. **Scour your VRBO correspondence because they now HIDE the access instructions within the emails- it used to be you could easily find how to get into your rentals, I did not find this was the case and panicked at the airport trying to contact the owner to find out how to get into the place once I got there. Anyway, he responded and everything was fine after that.
