Very beautiful house. Great area. Joe and Dolores are very nice people. Thanks for the cakes and tomatoes when we arrived.
This was our 2nd rental with them.
Thank you for our holidays :)
A lovely cottage, great location, best hosts ever!
This cottage is so charming, with an exquisite view and surroundings. It’s nestled in a beautiful valley above a lake. The house is well equipped with cozy living spaces Your cell phone might will only get what’s app reception or through WiFi, which can be spotty, but that is a hidden gift! The remote nature of this home provides peace and tranquility and is an easy 25 minute drive to good restaurants, groceries, gas etc. We will return for sure. The hosts couldn’t be more gracious and generous!
What a lovely time we had at such a beautiful location. Loved the stone-floored kitchen; the open sitting room; the chairs and table outside; the flora andf fauna around the cottage; the facilities; the ease of contact with Joe and Dolores.
The internet connection was problematic but Joe and Dolores sent a note to explain the difficulty, a gesture that was much appreciated.
We couldn't understand the instructions for the washing machine. Perhaps they could be clearer. Something about a pipe, which we couldn't find.
We would thoroughly recommend a stay at this delightful cottage in such a stunning setting.
This was our second time staying. We love this place plus the location. If you plan on a long trip in Ireland this is a nice place to unwind. You can't beat the scenery! The hosts are amazing l!
Thanks again!
Joe and Delores Hogan were fantastic hosts! We arrived much later than expected and they were so gracious and accommodating.
Their beautiful rustic stone home is just what it looks like in their photos.... quaint, lovely and welcoming. Plenty of space for friends and/or families. The immediate surrounding are beyond beautiful... we spent time in Cong, Westport and Connemara.... all easily drivable from their home. I can’t say enough about our wonderful experience... only that I wish it where longer. It will be next time!
Thanks again Hogans’ 💚

The property is placed in a beautiful area of Ireland. Although it is away from the city centers, it is very pleasant. You hear the waterfall in the back as the water rushes over the fall. Although you cannot easily see them, the sound is so relaxing. The mountains that surround the area are beautiful and tranquil. Dolores and Joe were in contact with us and addressed a very small issue lickety split. This is a place you go to relax and unplug. We would absolutely return for more of the same. One piece of advice would be to follow the coordinates, make the cottage easier to get to from anywhere.
Ganz toll!
A charming, comfortable cottage. Secluded but not too far from sights and things to do. Loved it!

Alles unkompliziert.

Hübsches Häuschen an schöner Lage

Our Adventure in Ireland
One is driving through the mountains into the valley of the Lough Na Fooey. A magical bridge welcomes you and leads you into mystic world of Eire. The cottage is enlaced by a fantastically wood: Atlantic ivy entwineds around trees, the waterfall swooshes, stone walls and sheeps whitersover you let pass your sight. Greengrey hills, sun drenched rain clouds... and the Lough Na Fooey...- we cast off daily routine on the bridge and admitted to let go...
The irish people- first of all our landloard Joe- impressed us with their tranquility. I went home highly motivated and relaxed and still I keep this in my mind. I will come back. This natural surface with it's old ruins and masonry, shagged shores, coloured houses... it caught me.
