Quiet townhome behind Sunnyside park at the end of E 5th Street in historic downtown Loveland. Sit and dine on the porch and watch bicyclists ride by on the bike path, enjoy an early game of pickle ball at the park across the street, looking for more of a workout? Chilson center is a 5-minute walk south on the bike path and boasts a lap pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub, splash pad/water slide for kids, Raquet ball, and a full fitness facility with indoor track. Walk to one of many restaurants and breweries, explore local shopping/coffee, catch free live music at civic center park or the forge, or one of many festivals held downtown all walkable. Here to see the Rocky Mountains?? Head on up Big Thompson Canyon to Estes Park a short scenic drive up the road. Want to enjoy the outdoors without the drive? Jared is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and he makes the check‑in and checkout process absolutely seamless. This townhouse has become our favorite place to stay in Loveland. With three levels and bathrooms on every floor—including two on the top level—it’s perfect for our big family.The location is fantastic: tucked in a quiet cul‑de‑sac right next to a bike path and a large park. It’s also dog‑friendly and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We love that it’s within walking distance to downtown Loveland, where you’ll find great restaurants, bars, and shops. The whole area has an amazing vibe.Highly recommend this property—we always look forward to returning!

The house floor plan is well set up. The kitchen has a lot of counter space for meal preparation and there are three bedrooms with full baths and one half bath. Plenty of space for a family Thanksgiving. We really enjoyed it. The location is central so getting from place to place was a breeze. It is located on a street that ends at a park/walking path in a quiet neighborhood.

The 5th Street Retreat was perfect for our family weekend in Loveland. It was extremely clean and well supplied. The 3 king beds were very comfortable. We also love the little perk of having box fans in each bedroom! It is a wonderful location for walking to coffee shops, restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!!

Comfortable and convenient stay in Loveland

The house was the perfect setup to host our family while in the area for CSU graduation. The proximitly to downtown Loveland was ideal and the house was just as presented on VRBO, updated, very clean and nice comfortable beds.

A Must Stay in Loveland!

Wow! Our BEST stay in Loveland over 5 years! This home is stunning. Lovely interior, 3 full bedrooms and bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with extensive amenities. You could not ask for more! The place was SPOTLESS. Our host, Jared was professional, courteous, helpful, and considerate. We could not have had a better place to stay! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful rental. A home away from home awaits you!

The property was in a perfect location to explore RMNP, Fort Collins, Loveland and the surrounding area. The rental was well stocked with supplies and communication during booking, check-in and our stay was great. Our dogs loved the fenced in front yard.

Daughter’s Wedding

My daughter got married at Sylvandale Ranch which less than 15 mins from this home. Great location. I walked to Loveland each morning and enjoyed the park Nextdoor. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable.

Highly Recommend

Our stay at the 5th Street Retreat was amazing. Jared’s home is set up perfectly for a group of adults. We all loved the king sized beds in each bedroom and having 3 1/2 bathrooms definitely spoiled us for any other place from here on out. The layout is perfect - you can hang out in the open concept first floor or go to bed early and have peace and quiet. I also took advantage of the onsite washer and dryer and had a nice clean bag to unpack at home. My only regret is our days were so packed full that we didn’t get to hang out and relax more at the house. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Family time in Loveland

Wonderful accommodations near park, rec center and downtown Loveland. This home was very comfortable and functional. We had our grandchildren there and had a family dinner with others as well. Felt safe and so convenient to many activities and shopping. The host was great to work with. No problems at all. We will book again when visiting Loveland.

So comfortable

We stayed here for about 4 days while visiting family and exploring Estes. I brought my mom and two kids. The house is so comfortable and so quiet. My mom slept in the bedroom in the basement and was not at all bothered by the noise of my kids upstairs. The beds are all so comfortable. The house is very clean. We also loved being able to walk downtown. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay. Close to a small park

The house was exactly what I needed for our trip. My daughter stayed in the basement and I took the upstairs. We had plenty of space. I’d stay there again. The nearby park was nice for a quick walk. The host was excellent. The property has lots of steps/stairs, but I knew that going into it. The gate was a little awkward with one hand, but we figured it out.

This was perfect for our group. The layout of the house is amazing. Each bedroom has it's own bath. The house allowed us to join together when needed and also tp have some privacy and downtime. Lovely and Spacious townhouse with great walkability

Had a family reunion in Loveland and this property was perfect for our family including our pets. 3 floors and everything was laid out nicely making it convenient for everyone to have space and not get into each others way. Newer property with all the amenities. Within walking distance to downtown some great restaurants, shopping and night life. Park across the street was perfect to stretch and walk and play with our dogs. There was a fenced in yard with a small patio with seating so we could watch our dogs play. The beds, pillows and linens were dreamy. Jared was east to work with and accommodating to our needs. Check in and check out was easy. Love this place. Will definitely be going back to stay there.

When my oldest daughter & I walked in, the floor was really gross. The floor had dog hair, food, dirt and crumbs everywhere. I had to sweep it up. The rug under the coffee table was dirty and needed vacuumed. My 11 month old’s feet were really dirty from walking around bare foot. Someone in the park was shooting off fireworks between 12:45-1 in the morning our last night there. The bed in the upstairs bedroom to the left was really comfortable but when I laid on the other one where my daughter slept, it was kind of uncomfortable, it was hard. The townhouse was newly remodeled. On August 11th I sent a message asking for the brand of the mattress we slept on. The owner told me that he would let me know later that day and I’m still waiting for that response.

Some Would Say “Good Enough”

The house initially appeared nice. However, we ran into a few issues. There were not enough bath towels, hand towels were lacking in a couple bathrooms, and bath mats were not provided either. The drier took hours to dry things so that could’ve worked better. The hot water ran out quickly as well which was annoying. The floors were not cleaned well before our arrival and we found dog food on the ground which was not ours. The house suited our needs for the week but some improvements could be made to enhance the experience.

I am an East Coast transplant as of 2008. I relocated to Colorado to escape the "work your life away to keep up with the Joneses" mentality. Prior to my move, I hadn't been west of Pittsburgh, needless to say I fell in love with the front range immediately. I'm a single father of a 6-year-old boy, and my girlfriend has my "bonus daughter" who is in her teens. Besides family time I love to play with cars, motorcycles, ski, and collect vinyl records (500+). We all live less than a mile of the condo and are always here to help should something pop up during a stay. I love meeting new people and being a host in general. Making people happy makes us happy.

Why they chose this property

This property used to be my primary residence. The accessibility to the old town Loveland hustle and bustle, yet being just far enough away that it's peaceful if I'm not wanting the activity makes this place special to me.

What makes this property unique

The retreat is located in an old neighborhood yet it's new construction, overlooking the back of Sunnyside park and mature trees with all of the modern amenities you'd expect from a new home.
