A Wonderful, Dog Friendly house in a great location!
The house was wonderful, you can tell the owners really put a lot of love in restoring the property. It was a great stay, and I think our two dogs had an even better time than we did. Thank you for a great experience!!

Great house for Virginia Creeper bikers and dog lovers.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is excellent with downtown Abingdon and the Abingdon terminus of the Virginia Creeper trail each about 1 mile away. The house was very clean, decorated well, and has been recently renovated. The large kitchen and dining area provided space for family gatherings. The spacious, fenced-in backyard and doggie doors allowed our dogs to have some freedom on vacation. We recommend this house and would stay here again.

Originally from Arkansas, we live in Florida the majority of the year, spending 4-5 months here in beautiful Abingdon! We are huge dog lovers and currently have 3 dogs, Heidi, Daisy and Sam!

Why they chose this property

We love the proximity of being in downtown, close to everything a small town has to offer but also able to get quickly to additional retail and dining options. People are very friendly here and we also love our neighbors.

What makes this property unique

We bought this house because of the size of the yard in the downtown area and its potential. We've been renovating the home for the last 3 years and we love the transformation. It's an old home with some quirks but all the modern conveniences. There was a lot of head scratching and options to figure out how to best reconfigure the space, only the main level was living space when we bought it, but we've enjoyed the journey. It's a very comfortable space with a mix of new and old, family heirlooms, antiques and a splash (ok, a lot) of our personality! Adding the deck and expanding the outdoor space changed how we enjoy the yard, we have multiple spaces to enjoy the beautiful weather. We also know hosting dogs with a fully fenced yard is very rare. We welcome all dogs, any size and breed.
