It is a very clean and private house at a reasonable price. Comfortable beds and everything you need for a nice stay. It is in a good location off I40 and close to Lake James.
This was my family's second time staying here. As before, the cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with all we needed. We love how the cabin is secluded but still convenient to the interstate. From the cabin we were able to take day trips to Mt. Mitchell, Lake James, and Linville Gorge/Falls.
The whole cabin was excellent. Every aspect of what you need is there. Do not hesitate to rent this cabin. The host were perfect. Their communication with their guests is far beyond expectations. We loved it and will rent again.
Just what we needed and the property is was perfect. Super clean and the very relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. Thanks again!
This cozy little house sits close to interstate access. Tucked in the woods we had our privacy. Brad, the host is very accommodating. Our family lives in the area and we look forward to visiting again!
Loves the cabin. Fresh baked cookies were such a nice touch. Extra items like coffee, sugar etc. was wonderful. Looks very recently remodeled, but still maintains the ambiance of a cabin.
This home was very pleasant and comfortable. Everything you needed was available. The beds were very comfortable and the home was well appointed. Great location to Morganton or Marion. And very close to great hiking and nature walks.
The cabin was perfect, exactly as described. Very clean, we even had fresh baked cookies waiting on us. The cabin is very isolated but full cell service and a short drive from civilization. The property owners were fantastic. .
2 adults and 3 children stayed here 5 nights and it couldn’t have been more perfect. This place was immaculate and they had so many food staples it was easy to cook meals. There was a heat wave, so we didn’t spend much time outside, but there was ample shade, pretty landscaping, grill, fire pit & wood. Internet was fast even with 5 people online at times. We had kids going to camp at NCSSM and it was about a 15 min, easy drive. Easily one of my most favorite stays.
The cabin was beautiful. The head heights into certain doors are a little bit short but if you pay attention the rest of the cabin is wonderful. It is perfect for a weekend get away and the owners were very helpful with any questions we had and gave us tips and recommendations on places in the area to go to. Check out was simple.
This is a neat cabin, looks like its some kind of classic mountain cabin but been redone inside Has what you need and in a quiet setting. I was able to bring my boat but you do need to be able to maneuver your truck and trailer fairly well in order to make that work. Had hose and power in front to wash and charge batteries.
This place was perfect for what we needed. A small group of us wanted to attend a weekend class and needed a place to stay. We found a clean home that was well equipped with everything we needed. We had no issues with the home or finding the place. It was about a 10 minute drive from the night life as well. I would stay here again.
Gorgeous modern kitchen. Very spacious cabin. Tho one bathroom with washer/dryer stack; it was very spacious. Beds so comfortable! Use the extra blankets though in bedrooms- it’s winter! Absolutely everything you need is provided! And! We were welcomed with freshly baked homemade cookies by the owner
