It was cute and cozy, the bathroom to sit where the toilet is is really confined no room to move one way or the other especially if you're a bigger guy. Couldn't get the heat to work it was a cold morning 45. It wound up cutting my trip early by a day. The owner did offer a free night if I ever come up again. The place is spectacular other than that

We are so sorry it was so cold and you ran out of heat. We prepared everything before we left, but the weather was much colder than usual. I could have got you help if you only let us know sooner. Also sorry about the bathroom being small, for a big person. If you ever stay again, please remember to let me know about that one free night. Thank you again.
Everything was clean and welcoming at the cabin. It had everything we needed and more! We really enjoyed our stay. The location, the cabin, and all the small details made the stay very easy and fun for our family.
Very clean, well equipped with everything needed, good instructions on arrival and in the cabin. The location was reasonably close to our planned activities in the Adirondacks and close to Ticonderoga for groceries, gas, and restaurants. I would stay at Mom’s cafe again if I was in the area.
Cute little Cabin is exactly as advertised! Perfect for a weekend away exploring the local hills. Walking distance from Putnam Pond park and a short drive from pharaoh Mountain and Ticonderoga.

Thank you for staying at Mom's Cabin. Its a nice little spot to go if you like the outdoors and hiking trails.
We loved the cabin, very comfortable and clean. There were a few grilling options and a brand new screen house for eating outside. Clise to town and the fort. Also close to lake George and Lake champlain.
My family and I really enjoyed Mom's cabin. It was very clean and located close to Putnam Pond campground. It was very private yet close to Ticonderoga. I highly recommend a stay here.

Thank you for staying at Mom's Cabin. The blackberries behind the cabin are just starting to ripen. Wish they were ripe during your stay, so you could enjoy them. Thank you again.
As described and then some. We loved it. Friendly hostess. Will recommend to all who ask where we stayed. If we decide we need to come back to learn more history of Ticonderoga will want to stay there again. Thank you so much!
Really enjoyed our stay at Mom’s cabin . Perfect location for our trip to Fort Ticonderoga and the town festivities for the 4th of July. Cabin was very clean and bed and couch bed were comfortable. Bathroom is very small but worked fine for our needs. Gazebo was wonderful for dinner and cooking out on the grill. Peaceful neighborhood surrounded by woods. Highly recommend if your looking for a great place to stay in the area .
Thank you for enjoying your time at Mom's Cabin. I found the burnt pillows and blanket. Also the spot on the floor, when someone threw them down. Remember honesty is the best policy!! I didnt get that!!
Very nice place to stay outdoor grills and fire pit. Very clean and comfortable. My only observation is that I am a big guy and bathroom facilities a little tight. Overall I would definitely stay again.

Both my husband and I are retired. We live close to the cabin. We originally had the cabin as a little convenience store for the public campground, that is a mile up the road. We both worked, then came home and worked, till 9 o'clock at night. It was too much, and we couldn't find someone to work when we needed a break. That's when we decided to turn it into a rental cabin. We have now both retired and use the cabin as a little extra retirement income. We enjoy giving people a little break out in the country.
Why they chose this property
My husband's family has lived here for generations, and we have brought our family up here also. We love the country life. We garden. Have our own honeybees and tap a few trees to make maple syrup in the spring. We would never live anywhere else.
What makes this property unique
We think the cabin is a very nice place for a little bit of peace and quiet. We are only 10 to 15 minutes away from the town, and only 2 minutes from the state hiking trails. We have had lots of customers see wildlife while sitting on the front porch. There is plenty of room there for parking your vehicle and boat trailer.
