Caloosahatchee Hideaway I, freshly updated, Family Friendly, Waterfront Home

Freshly Remodeled waterfront 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Duplex. The Farmhouse decorated living room has a custom Shiplap wall with a 55" TV and an electric fireplace. Make sure you utilize the Keurig Coffee maker and make a fresh cup or a whole pot from the coffee bar. The kitchen offers a table with seating for 4 and a bar with seating for 2. It is fully equipped with all of your needs for baking and cooking. The Master bedroom offers a king size bed and a 50" TV. The Master bathroom has a walk-in shower with a small step to enter. The Second Bedroom has a queen size bed, black out curtains and a 42" TV. The second Bathroom has a tub/shower combo. There is a screened in back porch to sit on and enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning and the canal view. Enjoy your evenings taking a stroll around the neighborhood on the bicycles or taking a cruise down to the river on the kayak and paddleboard. Make sure to cast a line with the fishing poles and tackle provided. If you need live bait, there is a bait shop a short drive away. Cap off the night with a glass of wine and stories around the fire pit. For the boaters, bring your boat and enjoy the Caloosahatchee River. The South Franklin lock boat ramp is a 5-minute drive from the Caloosahatchee Hideaway. There is a landing with cleats to tie off your boat. For larger families the unit next door is also available. We can accommodate 10 guests with both units.

Great stay in Fort Meyers

Very well stocked and comfortable home. Has direct access to a canal with a little patio and a screened porch, lovely place to sit and relax, my husband did a little fishing. Host is very responsive.

Wedding at Grace River Resort

This was the perfect place to stay if you are attending a wedding at Grace River Resort. The house came with great amenities (things to do, relaxing, etc) when you were not at the wedding.

Relaxing amd quiet

We finished our south Florida vaca here. The bungelow by the canal was perfect for 2 couples that wanted to chill out. We sat out by the canal in the mornings with coffee and evenings with a beverage.

Safe neighborhood. Very tidy and clean, unscented. Everything worked great. Well supplied. Quiet and peaceful. Comfortable. We enjoyed biking to the nearby grocery store, kayaking & fishing.

Home away from home

Completely remodeled two bed and two full baths with lots of space. The property, with screened in porch and garage, has everything one could need while visiting the Fort Myers area. Close to Sanibel Island and Fort Myers beach, but just far away to enjoy the quiet by the firepit and what the stars. Definitely will book again next trip.

Perfectly Location, Quiet Neighborhood

Jessica was the perfect host, she provided helpful information about the area, encouraged use of the bikes and kayaks, and suggested several restaurant and activities. The home was super clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the screened porch too. Olga is a very nice community, a short drive to Echo Global Farms where we volunteered for the week, and manatee park, be sure to visit both.

Comfortable and Entertaining

Everything was great! The house was clean and comfortable and the water was easy to access. The kids had fun fishing and kayaking, and the location was ideal as we were a short drive from several beaches. The hostess was kind and accommodating. We left something behind and the hostess went out of her way to get it back to us!

Hideaway Stay

We stayed at this listing for five nights and coincidentally our friends had the unit next door (also owned by the host) so 11/10 recommend coordinating for larger groups because it was truly so much fun! The location is so perfect since we attended a wedding at Grace River Island Resort. Jess was so reachable and personable with quick responses and even accommodated an early check in. The area was super quiet and peaceful and we loved the canal view. The outdoor space was awesome and we used the propane fire pit every night! We also really enjoyed the screened in porch, which was directly accessible from the queen bedroom. The place was super clean and lots of towels and blankets and both beds were comfy! Would recommend and would def book again if ever in the area.

Our stay was everything and beyond great

As we approached the property everything was looked very nice and well kept. The key lockbox was easy to use and it was the same for the garage door The kitchen had all the utensils needed to fix any type of meal (a simple heat up to full course meal preparation) The bathrooms were clean and the walk in shower was wonderful. The bedrooms had ample room and the beds were comfortable. It’s a place we would come stay at again. Oh and the fishing from the canal edge patio was a hit The guys caught several fish each day. We came to SouthWest Florida for a Celebration of Life gathering and having this home made the time more enjoyable, it is a peaceful and relaxing neighborhood There is Publix and several other grocery, pharmacy and convenience stores close for your necessary needs. Hope you get a chance to enjoy this treasure of a home for your vacationing needs.
