It was very clean and everything we needed was there as well. The host was always quick to respond to our messages. Worked out well for our party of six!
We had an amazing stay in Marquette. Unfortunately, we did get 9 inches of snow, but our gracious host sent her plow service to make sure that we could enter an exit the property without issue. It was the most relaxing and amazing day I have had in Marquette to date and will definitely be coming back.
Great property! This home has everything you need. Big tv, bbq grill, coffee maker, tons of plates and silverware. Beds ver very comfortable! Fenced in backyard was a bonus. Highly recommend.

We went with this property for 2 reasons: it had a fenced in yard for our dogs and it had a hot tub. There was a wasp next under the hot tub and wood deck that stung our dogs 3 times, that we couldn't use the hot tub at all during our stay. Morning until night, the wasps were flying out of the mouse-size hole next to the hot tub steps. When 1 dog get stung we thought it had stepped on a screw head that was sticking out of the deck about an inch. We covered up the screw so no one else could step on it barefoot possibly using the hot tub. The next dog got stung soon after, about 5 feet from the wasp hole and we thought her paw might have been pinched by the loose deck board that would pop up and down as you walked by. I had tripped on this loose board, luckily with shoes on and we covered this loose plank up so no one else would trip. When our dog got stung again we saw that it was a wasp and could see where they were going. We all moved off the deck and did not feel safe using the deck, back yard or hot tub due to the wasp nest being only a few feet away from the deck door. Of course we contacted the owners to state our concerns along with spotty wi-fi, two smoke detectors not working, a drain not properly working and light bulb flickering like a disco. Some of these items were minor although listed here to show our disappointment, mainly from the lack of empathy shown by the owner. Her response was she had sprayed for bees & there shouldn't be any. No sorry or offer to help

Thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations.
As soon as you notified us about the wasps, we let you know the property had already been professionally treated prior to your arrival. Unfortunately, wasps can occasionally reappear outdoors despite preventative treatment, especially during the summer months. Had we known the issue was continuing, we would have gladly arranged for another treatment immediately.
We also appreciate you bringing the loose deck board and protruding screw to our attention. Those items were addressed and fixed after your stay, as guest safety is always our priority.
Regarding the remaining concerns, we strive to resolve any issues as quickly as possible during a guest’s stay and would have welcomed the opportunity to do so. We want every guest to have a positive experience, and we take all feedback seriously to continue improving the property.
The property was amazing. A little far away from things, but not far enough to be a real pain. The rural atmosphere and the quiet more than make up for the little bit of a drive to town. The pefect place to stay for a while while you explre the UP!
