We had a wonderful time staying in your adorable cabin. Everything was very nice and clean! The yard was big enough to throw ball to medium dog, but fenced in nice to keep small dog in! Would stay again!
Place was modern, comfortable and indeed cozy. Everything better than expected but I thought I had read it was closer to water. In any event, great experience.
Adorable cottage, well equipped with what you need (except soap for dishwasher). Backyard was very private. Would definitely stay again.

Thanks for the great review Deanne! Sorry about the dishwasher detergent. Our cleaner must have forgetten to leave some out. We hope you stay with us in the future!
Kind regards,
Andrea
Such a darling cottage close to beautiful beaches, which even during the winter were so wonderful. The hosts thought of everything to have on hand to make our stay enjoyably easy. A quick drive to Mears State Park, which my dog particularly appreciated, and not much farther to Silver Lake Sand Dunes or Ludington. Would definitely recommend this rental to anyone wanting to explore some of Lake Michigan’s shoreline.
Cottage was just perfect! Very cozy during coldest week of the winter so far. Well-stocked kitchen (dishes/pots/pans etc). So much more spacious than photos look online. Owner very prompt in responding.

We're so glad you enjoyed tour stay Dede! You're welcome back anytime 🙂
Your cottage had everything we needed!
The kitchen was extremely well stocked, clean and beds were comfortable!
The shed had a full supply of beach chairs and equipment. Our dog loved the freedom in your fenced yard. Also, the ceiling fans and window air conditioner on a couple hot days were very nice.
This cute cottage was a conveniently located and nicely appointed. We stayed two nights and dined elsewhere, but the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and there was a grill and pizza oven in the backyard. Living area and bedrooms were also thoughtfully furnished. It would be a great spot for a longer stay. The only full bath is small and water temperature can change if someone uses the other bathroom-- not unusual for an older cottage. Backyard was a favorite for our dog, and like the house, the backyard had many nice features that would make a comfortable stay. Property manager was friendly and prompt in our interactions.
Myself, my husband and my sister-in-law met here for the weekend. My sister-in-law and I attended a quilting retreat, which was only 1 mile away. This cottage had all of the necessary amenities and then some. The upstairs would be very suitable for children as a bedroom/hangout room. Appliances are all up-to-date. We stayed in January and therefore did not use the patio outside but it looks wonderful with an outdoor pizza oven and grill. The owner is very responsive and accessible.
This place was amazing! We booked this place because my husband was working a few shifts at the local hospital. I work from home so the wifi speed was perfect for me. Large fenced in area for the dog. Many activities in their shed, although we did not use any bc of weather. Large living/dinning/kitchen area. Close to many hiking trails and outdoor restaurants that are dog friendly (mostly in Ludington). Owners were extremely responsive when we had a minor issue. They walked us through the solution and we were good to go! A+, 10/10 for this place. Plan to stay again.
We thought the cottage was great! A fenced back yard provided a safe place for our dog to roam around and sniff things. The two humans in the group also loved the cottage. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Well supplied with kitchen essentials; the beds were also comfortable with memory foam mattresses. Nice touch to have two flat-screen TVs (one in the living room, one in the upstairs bedroom area); we watched our favorite shows over supper a couple times. One and a half baths, so it would help cut down on friction if a larger group stayed there. Even a very nice washer and dryer for sandy towels! The cottage is located very close to Pentwater and only a short drive to Ludington. We shivered on the beach for some awesome sunset photos (we knew it would be chilly in March). 10/10 would stay there again in a heartbeat :-)

We're so happy to hear you enjoyed our cottage! We hope you can come back in the summer and enjoy the area even more.
This cabin is super cute! It’s small but perfect for a small group. We didn’t use the upstairs so there’s even more room up there… though the stairs are super steep. There are ceiling fans and a/c in every room which kept us cool. There’s also a huge smart tv so we were able to watch the Olympics!
The backyard is adorable complete with games, barbecue and a hammock. The cabin is on the main road that leads into Pentwater. It’s easy to miss the driveway so look for the red markers!
As mentioned in previous reviews, the cabin is damp and musty so if you’re sensitive to mold, this might not be a good choice. The shower is also super small. I had trouble turning around and I kept turning the water off with my elbow.
I also had to contact the owner on the way there to get the entry code.
Lovely little place, but do have some feedback for the renter: the outside propane grill was really dirty/grimy, as was the outdoor patio furniture. We had to find cleaning products to wipe down the glass table (did not know it was a glass top at first) and do some intense scrubbing to the grill grates to be able to cook food on it. Neither objects looked like they'd been cleaned at all this year. The shower head was damaged/we were unable to adjust, so the taller folks in the group could not shower without seriously crouching under the shower head (anyone taller than 5' 5"). Lastly, asking guests to bring sheets all the way upstairs before checking out seems extreme - we had some guests with us that could not go up stairs in any event - just a consideration for future renting.
Overall this is a very cute little spot and I love that the home is dog friendly! Also quite close to Ludington and some other larger attractions while being far enough away to have some peace and quiet. Indoor kitchen is top notch.

This property is very welcoming upon entering with lots of activities & amenities. However, after staying in this house 1 night, I developed a scratchy throat and runny nose. After 2 nights, my symptoms became worse with an awful cough, extreme fatigue and a headache. I’ve never had allergies. I am not a nap taker and have taken a nap every day since being in this house. My husband had lesser symptoms. I felt better when we were away from the house. After the 3rd night, I became too sick to finish our full stay and checked out early. The house smelled musty and felt damp. We suspect I was having a severe reaction to mold. While preparing to check out, I stripped the bed as required, and found the mattress in deplorable condition. It had numerous urine and blood stains. Other issues were the floor had a raised section we kept stumbling over and the shower was not installed properly, so we could not enter the shower to close the door. I notified the host of all of this and they were quick in responding, stating that they did have a well pump leak under the stairs and that they had not replaced the flooring yet. I do not recommend anyone stay here until the house is tested and treated for mold and the floor & mattresses replaced. The host was apologetic and quick to refund our last night stay & cleaning fee. Sadly, this was an awful stay.
We had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves very much. Very relaxing and many amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit and grilling out on a gas grill. It had great parking for 3 trucks and trailers plus not far from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes!! Thank you very much!
This was everything I wanted and everything I needed for a relaxing time at the beach! Thank you, Andrea!
