Ideally located near Baker University, this cozy retreat is your perfect base for exploring the town's vibrant festivals and beautiful scenery. A warm, inviting space awaits you.

With four distinct sleeping areas and three full bathrooms spread across three floors, the home provides ample space for large groups to stay together comfortably.

The main living room features a sofa, loveseat and large TV, creating a bright and cheerful space to gather. A second basement living area offers additional space to hang out, watch TV, or sleep some extra family or friends. The well-equipped, modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, which you can enjoy together in the adjacent dining area.

The home's layout provides ample space for your group:

Main Level: Features one bedroom with a king bed and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

Upstairs: You'll find two additional bedrooms. One offers a queen-size bed, while the other has two twin beds. These rooms share a bathroom with a bathtub (please note, it does not have a shower head).

Basement: A versatile lower level includes another living space with a full-size Murphy bed, a full bathroom, and a utility area with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Adorable house in Baldwin City!Excellent communication, instructions, and quick response from the Host. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom(s) - from dishes to necessities. Great outdoor lighting on front and back porch for safety. Close to bakery, groceries, activities in the area. I would definitely stay here again:)

Great small town location

Came through with my family to visit Kansas area and used this house as our "base". It was a great location and area and the house had everything we could have needed. The host was very communicative with what we needed and even reached out proactively to ask additional questions, etc. Would definitely come back if we need to visit the area again!

The property is located in an older neighborhood but it is clean. The house itself is old. Yes, upgrades have been somewhat done. Flooring, furniture etc. The window treatments in the bedrooms have adequate privacy. The living room and kitchen are lacking.

Good spot for Kansas City visit

We were in Kansas City for a family event and wanted to stay out of the city on the south. Since we were traveling with dogs, we needed a pet friendly place. This house worked perfectly for us.

We enjoyed the large open concept. We could enjoy being together as we cooked(kitchen was well equipped), played games and watched football! Andrea even had the house decorated for Christmas which was a nice bonus! Thanks again for the lovely time!

Our family has lived in the area for over 20 years. We keep busy with kids activities, and have enjoyed the opportunity to travel and stay in other short term rentals. It was those experiences that encouraged us to set up our own rental in Baldwin City.

Why they chose this property

Baldwin City is a great small town, with a quaint downtown area with restaurants and shopping. You'll often see families walking in the evenings, and kids on bikes throughout the warmer months.
The home is located just a few blocks east of Baker University, a couple of blocks south of US-56.

What makes this property unique

Our home offers lots of space for your family and friends to gather! There is a large living room with two sitting areas, and another living space in the basement. We also have several board games and books available for your use.

Three bedrooms sleep 6 comfortably, but we also have a full-size murphy bed, a small futon, an elevated air mattress, and 2 couches if you want to maximize the space for a group.
