- As always, we never charge Host, Cleaning, Pet (up to two dogs), or Extra Guest fees!
Built new in '04, this home features 2,000 sq ft of living space with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Maple hardwood flooring, ceramic tile, tongue & groove pine and 'Cottage' decor adorn the interior. The home has also been designed with 'Family Fun' in mind with separate spaces for grown-ups and little ones alike.
The Beach House on all-sports Upper Herring Lake offers 80 feet of private sandy beach frontage just 40 feet off the back deck! You may even catch a glimpse of the eagle that nests nearby.
Home includes the use of kayaks (May 1st til Nov 1st), pedal boat (April 1st til Nov 15th), Docks (Mid-May til Nov 1st)
- For our winter guests we recommend bringing an all-wheel-drive vehicle or at the very least a front wheel drive with good snow tires.
- Fireplace available Thanksgiving - April 1st.
---- Also we provide a starter supply of paper/soap products which should be enough for a typical 2 night stay for smaller groups of 2 - 4 people. For a complete list of "what is provided" and "things to bring", check out "Using the property”, on your “My Trip” page.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
1. Start first load of laundry (can be either linens or towels).
2. Wipe excessive spills on surfaces.
3. Return furniture to original places. Please leave inside furniture inside and outside furniture outside.
4. Clean and empty the BBQ grill into provided ash can only.
5. Clean up after pets (including HAIR IN HOME (and "doo-doo" in yard).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We are on a quiet, private road. Most of our neighbors have private frontage on Upper Herring Lake so it feels like a little vacation village.
What makes this property unique
This is a dedicated vacation rental which means we don't have drawers, closets and cupboards full of personal items. Also, the home was built to allow kids to enjoy their own space while adults can enjoy theirs.
