We were put in a completely different unit! Absolutely nothing like the pictures, EXTREMELY misleading. When I asked if we were in the wrong place he said they “redecorated” When I pointed out it’s a completely different layout he then admitted we were in a different unit. Feces on the bathroom wall, urine around wobbly toilet. Bed had a broken spring or bar running through it vertically, making it feel like you’re on a foldout couch. Not comfortable at all. Bed linens and bath linens were extremely low quality. 1 thin blanket total, no extra linens. Despite the no smoking sign it’s very clear someone has smoked in unit long term. Parking in front of building is VERY costly. Parking garage 3/4 blocks away was the better option.

This apartment was perfect for my purposes. I needed a place for myself for the week and for my daughter for one night before she started her summer program. Two people could stay here very comfortably, but a third person would start to make it too crowded since the only bathroom is located in the bedroom. This apartment is very close to the the Metro (subway) stop and made it super convenient for me to travel all over D.C. A few blocks south is Giant grocery store which helped me stock the full size fridge for my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Decent studio apartment

The place was clean and nice. Great location , could walk to national mall. I didn’t get WiFi instructions until I asked. There was a smell in the couch, maybe the couch beneath the cover needs to be cleaned?

DC Downtown Apt - Shaw Area

Very cute & clean! Perfect location for my stay in DC. Host was very responsive, which was greatly appreciated. Within walking distance to metro stations, grocery store, and bars/nightlife, if desired. Will definitely look to book for future trips to the DC area.

Nice location amongst the neighborhood. Advice for other guests: coordinate with the host PRIOR to your arrival to obtain check-in instructions. Check the status of fixtures as soon as you enter, so that discrepancies may be communicated to the hose ASAP. I discovered that although “no smoking” is permitted in the house, it wreaked of the odor, the shower heads fixture was loose, & a towel rack in the bathroom was broken.
