This apartment is comfortable, cozy, clean, and with an exceptionally well stocked kitchen, makes a great home away from home while exploring Washington DC - all while located in a darling neighborhood. The central location makes for easy access to many of the museums, restaurants, and sites around the city.

Cute little one bedroom apartment 15 minute walk from downtown and close to a number of convention hotels. Excellent cooking equipment. Tom was very helpful and accommodating.

This is a very nice VRBO, fully stocked, with a very nice kitchen, bathroom & bed. It is located in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of the National Mall.

Tom is a great host! The property is in a great location, and is very comfortable and clean. He's thought of everything for that little bit of added comfort and convenience. There are spices, tea, coffee. Information about shopping, groceries, restaurants, cafes and bars. Easy to walk everywhere. Absolutely charming. Definitely recommend. One of the best we've ever stayed at. Thank you!

This was an awesome basement apartment with all the amenities. Small but nice kitchen, laundry, living/dining room and separate bedroom. Very walkable to the Whitehouse and all the museums.

Our stay was fantastic. The apartment is wonderful. Clean, well equipped and great location. The sleeper sofa was truly the best I’ve ever seen. Just as good as a bed. The host was great. Very responsive and took care of all of our pre-arrival questions, as well as parking. We highly recommend this rental unit!

Our family of four had a great stay! The apartment was well-equipped and sits in an excellent location within walking distance to the National Mall, monuments, grocery stores, and the Metro. The Queen bed was very comfortable. The sleeper sofa was adequate, though it needed a few extra blankets for added cushioning. While the cleanliness wasn't perfect, it was clean enough to feel comfortable. We did have an issue with mosquitos, which the owner did spray for once we made him aware. Overall, we enjoyed the stay in the apartment and our trip to DC!

Well ouch. Your review matters to me. I do my best, but during a rainy August I can‘t entirely eliminate mosquitoes from this beautiful capital city. I use a backyard fogger before and during visits, when it‘s safe to do so. I’m on-site and do whatever I can to accomodate my guests. I wish I knew what was lacking in cleanliness in real time—instead of reading about it in a review—I would‘ve had my crew come back to remedy it. Thank you for choosing toms bnb. My best, Tom

This was a great property in an amazing location. It was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay in DC. Tim was an amazing host who always replied quickly to messages and made everything very clear from details about the property to where to park and even had great suggestions of places to eat and drink. We will definitely be looking into booking this property again in the future.

Very nice property, fairly close to many of the DC attractions. There is a Metro station approximately 8 blocks away. We appreciated the parking available in front of the property. Property was clean and met all of our expectations and was accurate with the description listed on VRBO. We would definitely have no problem staying at this property again the next time we visit DC.

This place was great, spacious and clean and close to everything. I will for sure book again. Loved that they had coffee maker ready and all the kitchen stuff. So easy to access. Great and friendly host. Would highly recommend.

What a great experience staying at this property. The owner Tom was easy to communicate with and the space was perfect for our small family! The neighborhood was great to walk through with wonderful dining options, and a short walk to the national mall, museums etc. I highly recommend this property and can't wait to come back!

Tom's Place is fantastic. It has everything. You can walk to the main attractions or there is a metro station minutes away. The apartment is a basement but we sat out at the front every evening for an hour or so every evening. There is a shared garden at the rear. Use Uber to go distance. There are several grocery mini markets and restaurants within easy walking distance. Mariscos restaurant is 100 yards away and is brilliant.
