We loved this lake house! We were in town for a LSU/Clemson game and it was close enough to the stadium and right on the water. We had lots of room and everything we needed. The firewood was plentiful and the younger adults enjoyed the peddle boat and the kayaks. We would definitely come back!

Great house to relax in!

We love Lake Hartwell and enjoyed our 3rd trip to the lake. This home is perfect for our family of 8 including a 14 month old & 2 dogs. We had plenty of space to sleep, play games and eat! This kitchen is one of the most well stocked kitchens we’ve seen. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle boat. The location is in a cove and we seemed to have the whole cove to ourselves most of the week. Great property!

Our family had a wonderful time at this lake house! It was bigger than I expected with plenty of indoor and outdoor areas! Also the parking areas were very accommodating to our 5 automobiles and a boat trailer! We would definitely rent this house again!!

Overall, it was wonderful. The AC was on when we arrived and the house was cold. Check-in is at 4 pm, so the temperature was dropping and it took a while to figure out the thermostat. Of course, after we found the notebook, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We warmed the house and everything went smoothly!

Too many spyder webs on the windows. Nice ample living room, clean kitchen, and quiet serene property. The biggest complain is the beds. Most of them are too saggy. My wife happens to get the smallest room with double bed, could not sleep on it and ended up sleeping on the couch. I had to sleep on the fllor with my air pad that i carry fir camping trips. With good mattresses I could give 4 stars.

I’ve living in Georgia my entire life and have dreamed of hosting guests in my favorite cities across the state. So far we have this home on Lake Hartwell and a log cabin in Blue Ridge!

Why they chose this property

Unfortunately lots of beautiful homes on our lake are in trashy areas. Guests drive through and almost turn around (I’ve stayed in plenty like that myself). We chose this area because it is remote, wooded and serene. The drive in is gorgeous farms and beautiful properties. It’s a great start to a vacation!

What makes this property unique

Lake views from the home. Very little slope to the yard so safe for kids to run and older relatives to walk down to the dock. Did I say quiet? Cove is private so no worries of your kids being run over by boaters.
