A great little cabin, nestled in the base of the mountains in Lycoming County. Beautiful hot shower. Fresh spring water. Clean bedding and sheets. Quiet, quiet, quiet.
Cabin was clean and cozy. We absolutely loved our stay! Host were really kind and helpful! It was so peaceful at the cabin. It is far from grocery stores, so be prepared when you go. We will definitely be planning another trip!
This was a nice cabin. The bed was actually really comfortable. It was clean and there is a cute gas fire stove. The one recliner chair seemed dirty though. I was given the wrong cabin letter in a message but luckily realized the mix up before trying to enter a cabin someone else was in! There is zero cell service for miles around in this area but there is wi-fi at the cabins. It's not the strongest wi-fi so I couldn't do certain things, but it's nice to get away and not worry about phones and emails at work!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Elk Creek Escape. The pictures were very accurate to the current cabin. The hosts were responsive before our stay and when we were on our way. They were friendly and helped us to check in and find a place to eat. The McCarty Mercantile they suggested for breakfast had the BEST biscuits! Thank you for having us!

Peaceful, relaxing, nice atmosphere and the cabins are very clean. Highly recommend
This rental was perfect for our trip for the Worlds End 100k. The cabin was neat and tidy, and had enough amenities to make our stay comfortable in a beautiful part of the PA Wilds. We would definitely stay again.
We loved staying here! The cabin was bigger than we expected and we were very comfortable. Beds were comfy and my son loved the shower. Kitchen had basic items needed for simple cooking! We hope to have an opportunity to return!
Very clean great location. The only recommendation I have is a few more seats and place to put your things on in the bedroom. The firepower’s a wonderful addition. Just perfect
My boyfriend and I stayed with our 2 dogs and had a wonderful stay. World’s End is right there for all your outdoor fun. It was awesome getting to spend the day outside and have a cozy bed to crash in while still feeling like you’re camping.
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and had all that we needed for our weekend trip. It was a plus that bedding and towels are provided. The cabin is more spacious than expected and we really appreciate that we could take our dogs with us on this trip! We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your cabins with us!
It was beautiful. It was amazing. I would go back there again.

We booked one night as our friend was having a party at his nearby cabin and we intended to stay overnight. There is spotty cell service in Sullivan County. We were 2 1/2 hours away and drove up to the area arriving around noon. We booked this listing 13 days prior, received a confirmation and room keys. We checked our the listing early and they were having a big wedding there. We spoke to the property manager and said we would be back for the 3 pm check in. When we finally had wifi service, I checked our email for the room keys and saw that the property owner canceled our reservation at 10:14 am that day. She said they double booked. We were offered a free nights stay at another time and she also offered to book us at a hotel that was 50 minutes out of our way that night. We had already been to a local winery and were at the party before we knew of the cancelation. We could find no suitable lodging nearby so we had to drive home over 2 hours that evening. I find it unacceptable that there was a double booking. If we canceled at the last minute, we would lose our whole payment. There should be some recourse from the property lister when this occurs. I'm sure this is a fine property but we never got to see the inside of a cabin. This totally ruined our celebrating that d day.
Perfect little cabin! We were in the area for a trail race and this was perfect- the place was very clean, had everything we needed and the host was very friendly and accommodating and very pet friendly! The grounds are huge- the pool was being worked on, but once its done this would be the perfect getaway for a family. The host did give us directions to a swimming hole that was close by, too! Very nice place- wish our stay was longer and we had more time to check the area out. We were pretty much in and out. Even so, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a beautiful, clean, quiet, rustic, pet friendly area to get away! 😊
I our stay was very cozy and comfortable. My adult daughter and I were there for our annual winter hike. World's End State Park was a short drive away, which is where we were planning to hike. The surroundings were beautiful, surrounded by Loyalsock State Forest and the ~3" of snow that fell on our 1st night just added the extra winter touch we were hoping for. The cabin was easy to find, extremely clean and very modern inside. The kitchen was just the right size for the two of us and everything we needed was supplied. The owners are new, and it's a work in progress, so they'll be updating with little things like hooks to hang coats. The only thing I missed not having was some sort of little table, but that was minor. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! The hosts are super friendly, Andy is such a sweet man and he and Connie were great hosts.
