Unit 3207 - Shell-ebrating Life - This is a charming Gulf Front Unit at the Private Gated Community of Gulf Shores Plantation (East). The next time you vacation on the Alabama Gulf Coast, relax and escape the crowds at our charming 1 bedroom 1 bath condo that sleeps 6. You will love the Plantation Resort, where the condo is located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula right next door to Kiva Dunes Golf Course.

This newly renovated and decorated, condo is located beachfront with a view that is to die for! Enjoy the nicely furnished living room with a sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the unit has 2 built-in bunk beds.

You will feel right at home with Wireless Internet, Cable and Smart TV, and DVD. The well equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare meals when staying in, including refrigerator, microwave, ice maker and cooking utensils.

During your stay you will enjoy the beautiful grounds and the four thousand feet of private, uncrowded, and unspoiled white sandy beaches.

Choose between the outdoor beachside pools or indoor pools. There are 2 Outdoor Pools (one Indoor) on the property for your enjoyment. Stay in shape with a workout in the fitness center or enjoy one of several relaxing Hot Tub.

The complex features charcoal BBQ grills, tennis courts, basketball, shuffle board, and much more.

Attractions include various golf courses, Bellingrath Gardens, 65 landscaped acres in the midst of a 905-acre semi-tropical rain forest. Charters are available nearby for deep sea and in-shore fishing, or you may enjoy a boat trip which allows you to watch the dolphins play. Visit Fort Morgan, offering living history demonstrations and self-guided tours. Take a ride on the the Ferry to Mobile and visit the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. Take a drive to Pensacola and visit the National Naval Aviation Museum. Looking for a good deal? Check out the large Tanger Shopping Center offering more than 120 factory outlet stores. Take a nature walk in the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge located near the resort. Enjoy local attractions such as The Wharf, ziplines, the zoo, and more. Great little condo on the beach front

What a treat to find a one bedroom condo that faces the beach. The views from the balcony were fabulous, and the beach was easily accessible on the boardwalk. Everything was clean and comfortable, although the bed and pillows were not to my liking, but you can't please everyone. I would recommend this condo.

Per our arrival instructions, if you encounter any type of problem it is important to let us know immediately so we can resolve the any issue. We found the a/c problem upon your departure and the a/c company completed the repair that day and it is working great.

It was just as advertised - clean and great location! The only downside was that the elevator wasn’t working when we arrived at the location but Mrs. Jackie was very quick in action to get security team to assist.

We loved our view!! The Sassy Bass grill is very convenient next door. The only complaint we had is the the condo is a little on the small side and bunks are very narrow.

Condo was very efficient and suited our needs! We had 0 issues throughout the whole stay we acquired there. Would definitely recommend this condo for your next Gulf Shores stay!!! Check in was fast and easy, ICE was convenient and the pools was a major plus!

Perfect Vacation

This was the perfect little getaway for me and my family of 4. The ocean view is to die for. Watching the dolphins every morning was such a treat for us all. The condo was cleaned exceptionally well. I’m the guest who checks underneath and behind everything and found no place left untouched. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic views!

The best part of this condo is the location and the view from the balcony. We really enjoyed the time we spent here. The condo is really close to a nice, heated pool, and just past the pool is a boardwalk leading right to the beach. The condo was cute and clean and matched the description except that there is only a Keurig (brand new, works great...just bring K-cups) but no actual coffee pot.

Great vacation get away

The condo was perfect for the two of us. Appliances were a little dated, but who really cares on vacation? Everything we needed was included so we were happy. Great thing about this location compared to others in the area is that there is a straight shot to the beach out the door - didn't have to use the boardwalk and less than 100 yards walking. This was our 2nd time staying in the area and we'll be heading back again. Hopefully staying in the same condo.

Love the View

We enjoyed our stay! Condo was nice and cozy. Kids loved the indoor pool, water was nice and cold. Beach access is a huge plus here and the view from the balcony was amazing. We watched dolphins from the porch! We loved the area, very family friendly. Kids loved the bunk beds which were perfect size for my 10 & 5 yr old. Pull out couch wasn’t very comfortable but they rarely are, it was great to have for another bed. Laundry room is close by if needed also. We’ve already discussed coming back!

Great location! Needs a little more cleaning

The location is fantastic! Beach and pools very close. We loved the balcony looking at the ocean! The only issue we had was with the dirty dishes. The owner of the space asks whoever is staying to wash the dishes before leaving (no dishwasher). I guess nobody double-checked after the people who stayed before us because most of the dishes in the cabinets were still dirty. We washed them before and after using them just in case. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Nice place with a great view.

Overall the place was great. Right by the pool and as close to the beach as you can get at Plantation. Unit was clean and had all the basics you need. Only suggestions would be to replace the shower head and talk to the checkout cleaning crew. The cleaning crew showed up at 8:45am on checkout day and acted surprised that we were still there. They did the same thing to our neighbors the day before.

Bed situation

Need to update bed size on the listing. The master bedroom says it’s a queen but it is definitely a full. That is a big difference for some couples. I also think you need a rail for the bottom bunk. The bunk beds aren’t a regular size twin bed. It’s smaller since it’s built in.

Our Stay

When we arrived to the condo we instantly noticed that it had not been cleaned. It looked like the only thing that had been done was the beds. There were crumbs all over the counter, table, and floor. I sent an email as instructed and received no response at all. I had to go out and buy my own cleaning supplies and I had to vacuum, sweep, mop and wipe everything down. I should not have had to do that. We liked the location and easy access to the pool. My kids had a great time. Other than the condo being dirty when we arrived, we still enjoyed our stay.

We sincerely hate there was a problem and would have welcomed the opportunity to reclean if there was an issue. Our goal is for each guest to have a great vacation which includes having a nice clean place to arrive to. We have provided a partial refund to cover the cleaning fee you paid, your cleaning supplies referenced and some extra. That is all we can do at this point. Break from Reality

The husband and I love this area, and we needed a break from reality. We usually rent a house for a week but didn't have time for that. Had never stayed in a condo so we decided to give it a try. Nice location with beautiful view! Downside you couldn't hear the ocean for the exhaust fan from Sassy Bass. This condo has plenty of space for 2 people. Bunks in the hallway are for tiny people or stick figures. For the coffee drinkers...you have a good coffee pot maker, so plan accordingly if your used to using a Keurig. We would stay here again.
