The Southern Magnolia is located in the Innovation Quarter in downtown Winston-Salem. The Innovation Quarter is a welcoming, community and a unique mixed-use environment that sparks creativity and collaboration. There are lots of entertainment and dining options in the neighborhood to include Six Hundredº, Barcelona Burger & Beer Garden, Alma Mexicana and Cugino Forno Pizzeria just a short walk towards Baily Park. Just to the west is Camel City BBQ Factory, Mojito Latin Soul and Famous Toastery.

The Southern Magnolia is a two story townhouse with open living and dining room space and an open kitchen on the first level with a half bath. The three Queen Bed bedrooms are on the second level. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom, a private porch with sitting area and a walk in closet. The other two bedrooms have a shared bath and ample closet space. Guests have the entire house, which includes a full well stocked kitchen, laundry room and an uncluttered living area.
Very walkable to restaurants and entertainment venues. Less than 10 minute walk to the Ramkat, Live Music venue! 7 minute walk to Bailey Park Power Plant, a mixed use retail/entertainment destination featuring Incendiary Brewing, live music in the coal pit and lots of restaurants. Just a 5 minute walk up 7th street takes you to the heart of the Arts District with lots of shopping and dining opportunities.
On street free parking on Chestnut and 7th Streets. Once you are parked, you are in a very walkable area of downtown Winston-Salem!

Great Location and Neat House

My family and I stayed in this house in Winston-Salem. It was our first time in the city and we were visiting old friends. This spot worked out great - plenty of space for all of us (2 adults, 2 kids). You can walk to downtown, but also easy access to the highway if you're going to a non-walkable location. Jeff was always attentive in his responses and he's got an excellent record collection!

Travel Christmas In Winston-Salem

This was a well equipped, comfortable, clean and super convenient location for Winston-Salem.Located in the Innovation Quarter we were only blocks away from area restaurants and local pubs.The kitchen had the base essentials for a week of cooking including a good Kitchen Aid mixer for our holiday breads n cookies.3 well suited bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs (1/2 down) made this a great home-base for all four of our holiday travelers....oh, and a really neat turntable and vinyl collection added a unique flavor to our little social hours.Good rate for good amenities.

Not the best stay

Check in was a breeze but it wasn’t clean. Floors were sticky, the fridge had a horrible smell as did the disposal. Couch was stained and gross and the carpeted stairs had dirt/debris all over them. I hate leaving a bad review but this was a bad experience and I travel and use VRBO a lot with my business.
