We had an amazing stay. Everything was very clean and put together very nicely. We used the fire pit both nights which was also very nice. Overall great place to stay and highly recommend.
Both cabins were immaculately clean upon arrival and check in was easy, with clear and well-timed communication. Furnishings were modern and comfortable, and we appreciated all of the thoughtful touches (plenty of towels and washcloths, extra blankets and throws, well-stocked kitchen). We had a wonderful stay and hope to return!
Both lodgings were well appointed and an easy drive from Cherry Springs State Park. Perfect for ourselves and friends as we could gather together for games and a movie, but also had the privacy of our own spaces.
We chose this location because of its proximity to Cherry Springs. Unfortunately most nights were cloudy but we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin is adorable and the Garage had enough space for us to hang out. The fire pit was perfect in the evening. If we had ATVs it would be even more fun. Definitely go to Perma Stone restaurant for an amazing burger. But go hungry, it is HUGE.
Comfortably can hold 7 to 10 if you double up on queen beds. Good space to stargaze, Internet was strong and place was very clean. I felt like we were the first people to stay by how clean it was.
Great property with every single amenity you can possibly think about. Everything was clean, new and fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Marlena
Me and my spouse, daughter and her boyfriend stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday. The property was beautiful and the accommodations wonderful. The WiFi works great. Peaceful quiet and beautiful time. Thank you! We will be back
The property was just as described and more. It was one of the best provisioned stays we have had. Everything you could possibly need was available. The cabin was remote enough so that most of the time all you heard was nature. It provided just the break from the chaotic routine of our regular lives we were looking for.
The two cabins were everything shown in the pictures and as described in the narrative. Both were clean, well appointed and worked well for two small families. We were cousins that met there for the week. One family from Pittsburgh and the other from northern NJ. We took advantage of everything at this place and the area. Campfires almost every night with S'Mores or Mountain Pies. Sitting on the spacious deck for breakfast or the smaller porch with coffee. Stargazing was amazing at night and we could see the Milky Way because of no light pollution. We did go to Cherry Springs Park and the Ranger narrated viewing with telescopes of the night sky was fantastic. Rented Kayaks and Paddleboarding (ours) twice in the morning was a success. PA Grand Canyon was breathtaking and some of us hiked the 800 feet down and back up. Some of us went up the old fire tower 100 ft in the air close to PA Grand Canyon and that view was even more spectacular. (Note, there is a $5 card charge to go up the tower, this pays for insurance.) There is Elk viewing in Elk County 90 minutes away and some of us did that. We went to Wellsboro for shopping and the tourist stuff. We had a game night and the air hockey table was used and then the big table in the barn cabin seats 6 easily and we played card games. Seating at this table for dinner was easy and we took advantage of both kitchens to cook our meals. It is very quiet here which is what we needed. GPS is off a bit, look for the small 95 sign.
