The Adventure Inn has been beautifully restored and features a huge stone fireplace with gas logs in the central dining and living room area.
Slope side home in the winter months to Snow Riders which allows for excellent access to the tubing runs. Lights and potentially other guests on the slope may be seen from the home.
Central Heat and Air Conditioning, Washer/Dryer/Linens Provided, 3 fireplaces - gas in great room, electric in sitting room and master bedroom, King Beds in each master bedroom, 2 sets of bunk beds, one bedroom with 2 double beds on main floor. Convertible Bed: sleeper sofa in living area.

Excellent property location, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. The AC stopped working and they had a technician there within 20 minutes. Highly recommend!

First, the place itself is amazing! Huge house, with plenty of room for our large family. Very well maintained with lots of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Laura made us feel right at home, ensuring that we had everything that we needed throughout our stay. Very convenient location to food, hiking, stores, and even snow tubing (maybe 300 yards away). I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quiet, while still having things within a short driving distance. Will book again in a month or so for snow tubing.

Really more of a 4.5 than a 4 but VRBO doesn’t allow a half option lol.Laura was super responsive before, during and after our trip and was very accommodating when we accidentally left an important item. The house was more than big enough for our family and while we didn’t partake in the snow tubing nearby - it looked like a lot of fun! The only negative was the temperature inconsistency in the house - some rooms were cold and some were very warm! That being said it wasn’t unexpected with an older home and we managed just fine. Thanks again for such a great stay!

Great home for girl’s weekend. Everything close by, private fenced back yard. Plenty room for everyone. Please note if you have big TV watchers, there is only one TV in the livingroom. No tvs in bedrooms, which I liked, but could bother some. Quiet, clean, beds were comfortable, easy to find and good location to visit Harpers Ferry, Charles Town area. Fun to watch the snow making machine next door at the tube slide and hot tub had nice private area just outside the door on the deck.

Great Girls' Weekend

Our group of women enjoyed our stay as we visited the different wineries in the area. The house was roomy and offered everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the family room with the huge stone fireplace. We would definitely stay there again.

The home is clean, perfectly located if you're planning to snow tube or river raft, zip line, etc. Plenty of room for large families or grouo of adults. The hot tub is clean and large enough for several people. Private deck. Only a couple miles from Walmart if you need groceries, etc. Would recommend and would stay again

Our stay was wonderful the ladies loved it so busy talking, chatting laughing around the fire pit and dinner table definitely will have to use the hot tub next time!! first floor bedroom was a bonus as well as first floor bathroom nice layout we loved it!!

Nice and big with multiple rooms

This was the perfect size for our family of 6. There was some road noise and it wasn’t really a “peaceful” or serene location. Perfect for using River riders. You can just walk, especially during the winter/snowtubing as it is right out of the back door. Kitchen is well stocked.

Huge house- great for groups

Loved this older house with a lot of character but for a house this large there was not the right amount of silverware and the tiniest coffee pot. We had an ant problem that the management came over and took care of immediately. Very close to Harpers Ferry. There is also a snow tube/zip line/ ropes course in back of the house that while in operation could be noisy.

Nice place and close to activities

The house was exactly as shown online. Lots of space in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The hot tub was a large size, so great for multiple people to get into. Very private and only ten minutes from downtown. Just a walk up to the tubing/rafting shop. My only comments would be: take beach towels for the hot tub, extra dishwasher and laundry soap as the house didn’t have it. And also extra trash bags as there was only one we could use. Overall, would recommend to large groups and families.

Very, Very, Very, Close to River Riders

Place is right next door to River Riders. So if you plan to go to Harpers Ferry for tubing, this is the place to stay. Good for families as there are 4 bedrooms, one of which is a room of bunkbeds. There are games in the kitchen closet for families to play. Also good for a group of friends who are couples. Anything more than 4 single guys, then it's not ideal. We booked this place for the hot tub. The hot tub was nice, just wish we could figure out how to raise the temp. There's a grill and firepit outback that looked nice, but was too cold/windy to use. The gas fireplace in the living room was great. Kitchen is fully stocked with glasses, plates, utensils, pots/pans, etc. Communication with property manager could have been better, is the only knock on the place.

Comfortable rustic home

What makes this property unique

The home has a Huge stone fireplace in the great room, a hot tub on a private enclosed deck and a huge back yard. There are also king beds in the Master Bedrooms. The home is conveniently located to River Riders, Snow Riders, Harpers Ferry, and the Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races. Harpers Ferry has something for the whole family!
