`Drifting Sands` 3BR/2BA Beach House. Sleeps 6

Tucked away at the end of “The Strand” and gateway to the Oceano Dunes you will find Drifting Sands, a 3BR/2BA multi-level beach house accommodating 6 guests in a relaxing setting. This stunning home is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your next adventure to the Central Coast. Located very close to the dunes vehicular access point and beautiful Pismo Beach. Gather with family or friends, enjoy evening sunsets on the decks, play pool and games.

The entry brings you into the large open kitchen and dining area, plenty of room to prepare and enjoy meals. Hang out in the large living room and upper deck while taking in stunning views of the dunes and ocean. The top level of the home sleeps 6 in three bedrooms, each with a king bed. The TV room is perfect for the kids to hang out and provides a desk if a work space is needed.
Head down to the lower level to enjoy some pool, watch the game, or just hang out on the lower deck enjoying company and conversation. The home is located at the end of `The Strand providing a quiet and secluded experience. Vehicular access for the dunes is located at the end of Pier Avenue, just a few blocks from the house. Pismo Beach, Monarch butterfly grove, wine tasting, and many other attractions are just a short drive from the home. The driveway will accommodate a maximum of three vehicles.

We provide self check in and available 24/7 if needed.

This is a multi level home with three sets of stairs. Baby gates are not possible so may not be suitable for the littlest ones or anyone that has difficulty with stairs. The driveway will accommodate a maximum of three vehicles and there is no immediate street parking. Only small caravans of 12` or less will fit in the driveway and this would count as a vehicle. The last section of road leading to the home is not paved and is a packed sand surface. It is easily traversable but can become soft in wet weather. Low profile vehicles are not recommended.
Primary renter must be 25 years of age. No parties or events!

The house was perfect for a relaxing beach weekend. Spectacular views from the living room and game room. Home was clean and the kitchen was stocked well with utensils and basics. Beds were comfortable and cozy. House is located near the vehicle access to the beach and was so convenient to drive down and have a bonfire near the water. Highly recommend Drifting Sands. Communication with property manager was seamless and thorough.

Nice beach weekend

We really enjoyed the space and proximity to the beach. The beds were very comfortable! The outdoor space was nice for coffee in the morning or cocktails at night. It was nice and quiet.

The good: It was available during a busy Car Show weekend. It was on a quiet street and had enough space for the 6 guests. The not so good: It's an older home which is probably why the downstsirs gameroom smelled strange. There is no A/C in the home. The house fan only cooled the kitchen and made the other rooms quite warm so we had to open windows instead. The curtains were dusty but I'm not certain that was due to lack of cleanliness or due to beach proximity. Overall: It was good enough but I would not recommend or rent again.

Thank you for your feedback. This is an older home with many updates including bathrooms, kitchen, and flooring. The owners have done a wonderful job providing a comfortable vacation rental accommodation. The home does not have A/C as indicated in the listing. Most homes in the area do not. We do provide a large fan in each bedroom and guests do open up the windows for the cool ocean breezes and soothing sounds. Sand and dust do come with beach life but our housekeepers do an amazing job preparing the home for each arrival.

Great stay!

The house was perfect for our family. We had adult kids with us and grandparents. We all loved the location and proximity to the beach. The house was very clean, decorated nicely and was super comfortable for all of us. The beds were extremely comfortable which everyone loved. The view from the top floor looking out to the beach is breathtaking. We used the BBQ for a family dinner the last night and the sunset was amazing. The check in process was super easy and the communicated very well with us. I had a few questions about things and they were prompt to reply. We would stay here again for sure. Thank you!
