Pajaro Dunes Resort: Breathtaking Views - 5 BR/3 BA Pajaro Dunes Beach House

We cannot wait for you to experience the tranquility and unspoiled beauty that you will find at our beach house located in Pajaro Dunes on the Monterey Bay. We have been vacationing here since the inception of the property. Our Papa and Baba built the third house here and picked out their property before the roads were even paved. We grew up here and are delighted that our children have the opportunity to enjoy this special slice of heaven and are excited to help you start building your own family traditions and memories here at Pajaro Dunes. Our home is Professionally managed by Pajaro Dunes Resort - Professionally Sanitized with On Site care.

Our house is perfect for families. It is comfy, cozy and expandable. Recently remodeled, there are five bedrooms and they are all equipped with their own flat screen TV, the two upstairs bedrooms have a king size bed in each. Also located on this floor, is the Great Room, which includes couches, chairs, a flat screen TV and a game table and chairs. The fully equipped kitchen, dining room and a bathroom are also located on this floor. The dining table is huge and we have played many games, put together countless puzzles, entertained oodles of people and have had many spirited debates while sitting around this table. The views are breathtaking and can be seen as you relax in your jammies and sip your morning coffee.

Downstairs, you will find two additional bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms each have two twin size beds in them. One bedroom has a TV. We recently added on a fifth bedroom for the kids. In the kids room, there are two built in twin bunk beds.There is a full size washer and dryer on this floor and it also boasts an outside shower to rinse off the sand from your lazy day at the beach.

We love our house for relaxing – there is nothing commercial here at Pajaro Dunes. If you love pristine beaches, building sand castles, walking/running on the beach, beachcombing, bird watching, playing tennis, riding your bikes, all you need to do here is enjoy yourself. If you are relaxed after a short time, there is Historic Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey, Carmel By The Sea, the quaint town of Capitola, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, golf courses, wineries, spas, the 17 mile Drive through Pebble Beach, the Point Lobos Reserve and the Monterey Aquarium to mention but a few temptations close by for your exploration and enjoyment.

Amazing location. Family had a great time. The sunrises and sunsets from the porch (balcony?) are a great time for your kids to put their phones away. Would go again.

Fabulous weekend

Everyone in our large group loved this rental. It was decorated very nicely and had a great "flow" for a family gathering. We all said we hope to rent it again the future for similar get-togethers.

Annual family getaway

3rd annual family vacation, first time at this location. The home was perfect for all of us, ages 2-70. Everything we needed for fun during our time away was provided - sand chairs, sand toys, and boogie boards. Beds were comfortable too. Highly recommend this home, thanks for sharing it.

Great Place to Spend Christmas

The house was spacious and comfortable for our party of 10. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and appliances. Beds were comfortable and the beach is readily accessible. The house even had sand toys and beach towels. I would highly recommend for family get togethers.

My extended family just had a great stay at this house. We had very rainy weather but the house was so comfortable we barely even noticed. The house is beautifully designed and has everything you will need. Even though it is not beach front, the view are beautiful and it is a great location. We have stayed in many houses at Pajaro and this is our favorite!

Beautiful place

We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. The walkways between the houses and the close beach access made it ideal for our family. So nice to be close with small children! The beds were comfortable and everything about the house was inviting. We brought a child gate for the stairs for extra safety.

We were a large group of 9 adults and 3 children. The house is in a beautiful location and the tennis and other facilities are top-notch and just down the sidewalk. The beach access is excellent and all the associated beach toys and towels are provided. The upstairs of the house is in excellent condition. The downstairs needed a bit of attention. Some unpatched holes in the walls and some unused, exposed picture-hanging hardware. The downstairs toilet made a jarring noise when sitting down. No access to a nightside table for putting down my glasses or phone at night. Possibly the downstairs is better suited for kids.

Perfect Surprise Birthday!

This property was perfect for a surprise weekend for my husband's 80th birthday! With our 8 kids, the table for 10 was just right. There were beds for everyone and the beach was close. We'd recommend this to anyone!

Great stay

We had a great stay in Pajaro Dunes at this property. It was nicely furnished and well stocked. We enjoyed the upgrades and decor. The only thing not as clear from the listing is this property has a partial /obstructed view of the ocean (in the second row of homes). Otherwise it was lovely and we hope to be back soon!

This was the best equiped rental that I have ever stayed in; however a little shy on hangers. The kitchen had everthing that we needed. The lay out of the house lent it self so well for everyone to enjoy each others company. The dinning room and living room were large enough for everyone to gather yet there were plenty of spots for private conversations. Great design to the house! We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Wonderful family stay

We stayed here with extended family & friends and had a fabulous time. The kids loved the kids’ bunk room. The bathrooms are gorgeous, and the kitchen is so well equipped with very nice dishes & serving ware and everything you might need for meals, happy hours etc. The view is beautiful. We had some minor issues with a broken chair on the patio and broken beach umbrellas, but the property provides so much more that it really wasn’t an issue. There is everything for a fun beach vacation- kites, tons of sand toys, beach chairs, etc. The area is very quiet and miles and miles of gorgeous empty beaches.

Overall the house worked out well for a reunion of 9 women. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed the family room with seating for everyone. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were great. Our only complaint was the check-in process. They make you go to two separate buildings one for your keys, and another to register your car. It also would have been extremely helpful if a map was provide on where to park to have the best access to your rental home.

perfect beach setting

Our family, which ranges in age from 1 year to 67 years had a wonderful stay at Pajaro Dunes. House 121 worked out great for us, our adult children, and four grandchildren. The house was well stocked with linens (including beach towels),kitchen utensils, pots/pans, sand toys, games, puzzles, and even toddler plates, cups, and silverware. We saw dolphins, an otter, seals, and many types of birds. The living area has a large sectional which fit us all. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the view was great. The private beach is beautiful. We hope to return in future years.

Nice, spacious house; lots of stairs. Great LR seating arrangement.

The check in process is a nightmare but once you know the drill, it’s easy. Large house, light & airy, comfy beds. The bunk bed room is like a cave. We were there during a windstorm and the spark arrester on the chimney sounds like cymbals are in the chimney. 24 hours later, it was quiet. Would definitely rent it again.

Enjoyed the spacious, clean home and beautiful views. Check in was challenging. Recommend clarifying that you must drive to Pajaro Dunes North first to pick up key, then drive to Pajaro Dunes South to pick up parking pass then you can park and unload. We were also given the wrong key so we had to call security who came quickly to let us in. Other than that, the house was beautiful and accommodating.
