This was our fourth time staying here. House is perfect, property is beautiful and extremely private, pool is great, and Hava is very attentive. We'll keep coming back.
Secluded retreat on ten beautiful acres with a spacious house and a large salt water pool. This was our third stay here and we will keep coming back. Hava is an extremely helpful and attentive host.
This was such a gem! The house is so comfortable, even for a large group. It's quite large, and the grounds are expansive. It was spotless, cool, with a guide on best to enjoy our stay. Hava was so communicative and helpful. We had an amazing time and would come back in a heartbeat! Highly recommend staying here :)
The house was set up just as pictured and is in a lovely, secluded setting. The space is great and perfect for a group gathering. There were just a few details that needed attention in order to earn 5 stars: the heat wasn't connected/working in half the house when we arrived (the owner came within an hour to fix it); the dryer did not automatically turn off but rather stayed on cool down endlessly so it was still on and packed with towels when we arrived; the towels were thin and no washcloths are provided. These were fairly minor and Hava was lovely to deal with.
the property and the house are very nice, the only thing that should be more careful in the details, it was a pleasant experience

Thanks Enna but we are not sure why you gave us a 3 stars if you had a pleasant experience. The only thing you mentioned you had an issue with during your stay was the outside grill, which was repaired same day (and now we bought a new one based on your feedback). Thanks for staying with us.
Attended a wedding at the ashoken center this weekend. Great proximity. Less than 5 minute drive.
Accommodations were as advertised. Hava was a wonderful host and would choose to stay there again if our plans take us to the Catskills.
Went to Bread Alone in Boiceville for breakfast. A must visit if you love bread/pastries.
Had the best time during our stay at Beaver House!! The amenities on the property are wonderful.. we utilized the grill, pool, fire pit, basketball court and spent lots of time on the back deck. As a group of 8 we felt the home was private, spacious and offered everything we needed. The host, Hava, was very communicative and accommodating as well. Highly recommend this home if you are looking for a peaceful nature-filled weekend getaway!

Thank you Laynie, you are a wonderful guest and I will be happy to host you again!
This property has everything! Large salt water pool surrounded by a huge lawn and fire pit with lots of wood! It was a little chilly on a few days so we used the fireplace and enjoyed the puzzles and games in the house. We explored all of the best nearby towns which were an easy drive through beautiful Mountain View’s. It’s close to some very good restaurants and locals shops with a great selection of locally made products.
This was our second time staying at the property and it doesn’t disappoint.
We loved this house so much! The pool was amazing! The property is very secluded down a long drive so there is nobody around. The lawn near the pool was large and great for lots of activities. The house was clean and the kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook your meals. Close to lots of cute towns for shopping. Kingston was especially fun. There are two farms 20 minutes away for fresh local produce. We lived and will rent again.
We were looking for a quiet family getaway with a pool for our daughter to practice learning to swim and we got just that!
The home was immaculate upon arrival and stocked with all the basic essentials you would need ( shampoo, conditioner, soap, paper towels, etc)
The house is so secluded that you really have a chance to getaway from it all and really have family time. However, you can still find some good restaurants 20 minutes away if you want to get out and about. ( we loved stone hill ). Woodstock brewery was also pretty good.
One thing to note is the area is buggy and we just so happened to be there in a heat wave which made it worse. This is obviously outside of anyone’s control, but I thought it’s important to note especially if traveling with young children like we were.
Lastly, Hava is a wonderful host and addressed our needs/questions faster than anyone I have ever dealt with. Thanks for a very memorable week!
We wanted a pet-friendly winter getaway where we could spend time outdoors, sit by the fire, read, cook, and relax. This property more than delivered. The living room was a great place to hang out with comfortable couches and chairs, and an enormous fireplace. Kitchen was more than adequate — no food processor or blender but we made do. The industrial oven took a little getting used to, but we figured it out. There were lots of board games and a grand piano that I only wish had been tuned ...maybe next time!
The best part about this home was its location. From casual jaunts down the driveway to more ambitious walks around the reservoir, we loved being out and about and enjoying the wintry weather. We saw deer everywhere and our dog loved romping in the snow. I can only imagine how lovely this place must be in the summer and fall.
The only note for potential guests: we ended up leaving a day early after the power went out on Christmas and the (very helpful) owner told us it would likely take a day to get it back on. The hazards of country living! We headed back home rested and relaxed, and we’d definitely come back!

Jennifer, thanks for staying with us and we will be happy to host you and your family again anytime!
The house is set on a beautiful ten acre lot surrounded by trees which feels like you are alone in the woods. The floor plan of the home fit our needs so well. The family suite was so spacious and perfect for my son, daughter-in-law and my two small grandchildren. The master bedroom was perfect for my Mom, giving her privacy and her own bathroom. The home is well stocked with everything you need and the owner and property manger were extremely accommodating. This was our second trip to this property and we left with some very special memories of our time together. Highly recommend!
We stayed with another family for three nights and had a great, relaxing time. The large house, pool, and yard were perfect for our kids while the adults hung out by the fireplace. Our dog wished we could move here and was saddest of all of us when it was time to leave.
The house was amazing! Comfy living spaces, super well-stocked kitchen, and the pool cannot be beat. My nephews were particularly impressed with the selection of pool floats, and seeing bears nearby really underscored the wonderful seclusion! Hava was super helpful and communicative too.
Beautiful, immaculate well equipped house on ten secluded acres with a large pool, fire pit, and basketball court. Hava was very attentive and an outstanding host. Doesn't get any better than this. We can't wait to come back this summer!
A beautiful home and property away from it all, in the best way possible. A pool in the middle of the woods is as serene and relaxing as one would imagine and we truly had a wonderful time.
I stayed with a group of 8 girls and we absolutely loved the property! It is very secluded and quiet which is what I wanted. The pool is awesome and the beds are very comfy. House is also very clean. If you want a break from the city this is definitely the place to stay!
