Check in was very easy. Nice location with an easy walk to the lake. We had a family of deer that visited us every afternoon. Loved going on the lake on the kayaks. We were able to see a few loons and a bald eagle. Very serene and beautiful place!
The house was nice. I would say it’s good for a small family or small group. The cove is quiet and protected from weather . Parking is limited . Owners are very good at communicating.
A wonderful and serene cabin! Loon Dream was clean, organized and well stocked with essentials. Beautiful view of the cove! It was a perfect spot to spend my birthday with my boyfriend. We pulled the available canoe on the property right into the water and were able to fish several minutes later! The gas fireplace was an added bonus. The bedroom is quiet and dark and we both slept wonderfully during our stay. The property manager is very welcoming and provided many details regarding the surrounding area, and we used that list to find some great spots. I highly recommend booking with North Woods Maine Cabins as they have a variety of rentals to suit anyone’s desires!
It was okay. Some issues we had was in the living room area and downstairs bedroom. The couch was uncomfortable and there and lighting for reading was limited and poor. We had to go upstairs to take a light out of that room for reading. The bed in the downstairs was uncomfortable in that it sunk in the middle. We cannot comment on the upstairs part because other than taking the lamp, we did not go up there. Although the weather turn bad and we were unable to use them, the kayaks and canoe were nice. Communication with the owners was great.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
This cabin was clean and cozy (small). Management company provided a lot of info and was responsive. A few things...1. The couch is not a pull out. Not the same couch as pictured. Maybe add updated pictures? The new couch only seats maybe 2.5 people and really not sleepable.2. The loft is neat, but both kids were scared to come down the ladder, rather steep. The beds are not arranged as pictured. One is against the rail and both situated wirh your head at the bottom of the peak. Basically you would hit you head upon waking. Beware if you have kids and plan on utilizing the loft.3. You cannot fish from the lake. There was no dock like pictured. We only caught debris from the shore, which was a bummer for my son. The lake is beautiful though.4. Really no where to hike. Lots of posted no trespassing signs. 5. The front door could use a blind or curtain. You can see right in. 6. No directions on how to start fire place. We only stayed one night. Cabin was super clean, just a few things to be aware of. A little misleading from the pictures and a little pricey for the size and missing ammenities (pull out sofa, missing dock). Thanks!
