Bring your own towels if you're driving. Mgt Company runs linens like a Holiday Inn Hotel so 1 towel per person and they're not very good. Outstanding location in the heart of Bar Harbor.
Outstanding location. Host communications were immediate. Also immediate needs addressed. Kitchen well stocked tho no good skillets. Liked the supplies provided like TP, paper towels, dish detergent and laundry supplies. Great visit!
This property is EASY walking distance to downtown businesses, the Land Bridge and local restaurants. You can drive to Acadia NP in 10-15 minutes and drive times to SW and NE Harbors are 20-25 minutes. This rental has a full sized washer and dryer and a full sized kitchen which allows you to pack less clothes and store your leftovers, respectively. The couch is really comfortable, as are the beds. The stairs that lead to the twin beds upstairs are steep but easily doable for kids or fit adults. The convenience and overall quality of the rental make it the perfect place to be while in Bar Harbor. And one last thing, the owner has incredible response times for any questions or concerns. Customer service seems to be top priority.
This was a great property. The house was clean and close to the shops and restaurants. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. The owners were easy to communicate with before and during our stay. I would stay there again if in the area.
The unit was in a perfect location - next to shops, restaurants, and the commons, without being in the middle of the noise. It was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a 5-day stay, including a cute balcony for coffee and cocktails. It easily slept our family of four, but I will note that you’ll want sleep masks or be prepared for early mornings in the upstairs room - there is a large window/skylight without a covering or easy way to cover. Otherwise, it was super comfortable with a/c, two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, and kitchen with everything you need. We look forward to future stays in Agamont!!
The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Perfect location!

The property is musty and old and the living room carpet needs either replacement or a deep cleaning. Opening the windows and doors helps temporarily. The bathrooms and kitchen are beyond dated. All of the appliances worked. Don't use the microwave and toaster at the same time. Fortunately, the electrical panel fuses are well labeled. One of the bathrooms has a loose doorknob missing a screw and a toilet seat that doesn't tighten properly. The venetian blinds are old, brittle, cracking and one doesn't reach the sill leaving gaps in the bedroom windows that face West St. The floors are uneven to walk on, spongy in spots and they slope. The property is in a great location and the parking spot is an excellent perk. The front porch overlooking West St. was our favorite part of this rental. While others rated the property highly, we left a day earlier than our reserved stay because we simply didn't enjoy being inside this rental.
We had the best stay! Our family was there for the week hiking and enjoying the town. Location was ideal being right in the middle of town, walking distance to all the bars and restaurants, and having the parking space was really helpful!! Can’t wait to come back!!
Such a beautiful place to stay. The kitchen was amazing!! The cottage was so cozy and comfortable. Well stocked with everything we needed and so clean!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area. It’s within walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. Well done all around.
This house was fantastic for our vacation. I loved Bar Harbor and to be staying in a house where we could walk places and a parking spot... so convenient. We spent a lot of time playing games on the front porch also which was great. We also had an amazing view for the 4th of July fireworks. Highly recommend.
Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Location within a few minutes walk of the main food and shopping in Bar Harbor can't get better (plus free parking is huge). The place is spacious, clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. Highly highly recommend it to anyone spending some time in Bar Harbor.
This location was perfect for a quick drive to hikes plus access to restaurants, grocer and more. The kitcen was super well equipped for any meal. We were able to sit on thebalcony and visit after hikes. Great place and responsive host.
We had everything we needed at the property. It was clean and comfortable, although the upstairs bedroom gets pretty warm. Fans supplied help with that. Perfect location to walk to restaurants, shops, sights in Bar Harbor. Easy access to Acadia.
It was really fun staying in downtown Bar Harbor and being able to walk to dinner and shops. The place is very close to Acadia National Park where we spent most of our time. Also a quick walk to Bar Island at low tide. The house is cozy, comfortable and reasonably priced. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to cook. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in the showers. Highly recommend Havana and Parrilla for dinner; Stadium and Cafe This Way for breakfast! Would happily stay here again.
First of all the location is ideal and the cottage was clean and beautifully appointed. However several requests we made of the host were denied. For example we wanted additional towels; we were told we had received the requisite amount which was two (motel quality)towels per person and were not permitted additional ones. I had asked for kitchen shears and at first was told they’d be delivered and subsequently that the owner had none. The manager was apologetic and said the owner would not pay the hourly rate for management to purchase the shears. Although there were pots and supplies to cook lobsters and clams there was no steamer rack which you’d expect. When I asked the host for one it was not provided.Other problems: kitchen table chair had a broken leg, shower stall door was off its track, a light in the kitchen was not working and two sinks were slow to drain. In conclusion we have rented this cottage repeatedly in the past under different ownership and the host anddressed all requests. In the past there were lush towels in plentiful supply. There is a marked difference between ownership from past to present.

My stay was nice overall. The master bedroom needs room darkening blinds, and one set of blinds didn't fully cover the window, so the room is light at dawn. The management company does a last minute check in, emailing the information only in the morning of your arrival. So if you want to print out anything ahead of time, such as if you are on the road traveling and with limited internet access, it could be difficult. I'm assuming that they may have had issues with people checking in prematurely, but other Vrbo properties give you all the information at least 5-7 days in advance.

If anyone wants to receive check-in information early please reach out and we can send it! Nancy never asked or requested to get any information early and we were not aware this was an issue for her stay.
Highly recommend this Bar Harbor cottage for its walking distance location to downtown and the marina. The host kept me updated all along the rental journey. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms! The front porch was a favorite spot of ours. We had four travelers in our group. We had one car, so parking was simple with the a reserved spot next to the property. Bar Harbor & Maine during October was special!
