Welcome to our newly 2024 renovated 2nd Floor Apartment in the heart of Seal Harbor.
This entire unit was renovated with new flooring as well as rugs throughout the home. Very few rentals are available in Seal Harbor, and they are very attractive due to the proximity to Acadia National Park

A great place to stay in Seal Harbor

This was the perfect location, away from the hustle bustle of Bar Harbor, but close enough to all parts of MDI to easily get around. There was also great access to Acadia National Park and the Park Loop Road and the Carriage Roads. The p[lace was perfect. We would stay here again.

Loved Seal Harbor!

What a great location! We have two kiddos and were able to walk to the beach and the bike shop. Quick bike ride to Jordan Pond. Lovely quiet spot on the island.

Jordan Pond Acadia NP

Our stay was great! The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was a comfortable spot to wind down from our busy days of hiking.

Family Acadia Trip

This was conveniently located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor on the south side of Acadia National Park. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. We enjoyed being apart from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor yet having easy access to Acadia. Your hosts make check in a breeze and are very responsive. We enjoyed cycling on the carriage roads, sea kayaking, exploring the coast line, and even spent time in Southwest Harbor at the Wonderland trail and Beal’s lobster shack. I would definitely recommend this property!

Location is excellent, especially for those who want to stay close to Acadia. In fact, it's possible to walk into the park from this location. The facility was immaculate, except for a slow draining sink in the bathroom. The instructions weren't clear where to dispose of trash. Fortunately, we had very little during our stay.

Great place to stay for your visit to Acadia National Park

For a small group, this location is ideal as it is a short drive to an entrance to Aradia. It is also an easy drive to Bar Harbor. Has all that you need for an extended long weekend. Head to Sand Beach, Thunder Rock, and hike/bike the carriage roads!

A great stay close to everything

We had a lovely time. The property is so well located - just down the street from bike rental and ice cream, close to Seal Beach. It was a perfect jumping off point to explore Acadia.

Great location with easy access to Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, and Northeast Harbor. It was central to all the activities we did for several days.

Great location

The apartment is just as it is described, nothing more or less. We found there to be an ample amount of cookware in the kitchen and the place was very clean and homey feeling. The location is OUTSTANDING - away from the crowds in Bar Harbor but really close to the entrance at Jordan Pond. I would definitely recommend staying at this location.

Perfect location

This was the perfect location for us. Close to Acadia entrances and Bar Harbor. No cell service but there is wifi. Hosts were very quick to respond to messages.

Pleasant stay in Seal Harbor

Our family of 4 had a great 5 night stay at the cottage. The apartment was clean and was just as the listing promised. We really appreciated the short and easy checkout instructions as it made the final morning stress free in getting out. Seal Harbor was the perfect location for our trip: the sandy beach is close and allows water play at any time regardless of the tides, we rented bikes at the nearby shop to explore the carriage roads that are only a few minutes away.

Clean, spacious and quiet

Comfortable beds and furniture. Great shower. Could use some hooks in bedrooms. Also could use a laundry basket for used towels. Very easy parking and access to Acadia. We enjoyed hanging out in the apartment after long hikes.

Home away from home

Everything was exactly as advertised. Our family of 4 spent most of a week calling this place home base. Check in was simple and hassle free. The unit is spotless, well stocked with all the necessities, and in a super quiet neighborhood conveniently located by Acadia and Bar Harbor. Check out was as easy as check in did not consist of a long list chores. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend!

Hope they figure things out

When we arrived we noticed that the property was clean. However, not soon after, I needed to shower, upon finishing the hook for towel adhesive gave out and fell off the wall. After, i tried to watch some television, however i had to plug in the cable box. Then when i turned the cable on we quickly realized there wasn’t a remote for the television. I reached out to management and was told to search everyone because it was deff in the unit. It wasn’t the worst as we didn’t spend much time in the unit.

Mixed feelings

Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive.
