Marge was a wonderful host. We had everything we needed. Great location. Close to Acadia and easy walk to town for shopping and restaurants. We stayed here in 2009. Hope we can return.
Very clean, quiet, fully equipped, comfortable beds, excellent location a short walk from all the shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. We even walked to Acadia! Everything worked. Check in and out SO easy. We had no need to contact Marge, but she was lovely when we had a chance to chat with her.
Marjorie is the nicest host we’ve ever stayed with. Her accommodations are charming, very clean, well maintained with comfortable bed linens and towels. It’s such a great location, walk all over town, take a seaside stroll, and an easy drive to Acadia!
Margie goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Close to everything from downtown to Acadia National Park walkinh distance to the Harbor. Our family had an amazing time.
As busy ladies and mother's, time to ourselves is rare. We spent the weekend in Bar Harbor and the Crow's Nest was perfect. It had a homey feel, perfect location and everything we needed to get away even for a short time. Would definitely stay there again.
Host was incredibly hospitable and the rental was very clean, comfortable, and you can’t beat the location. Across the street is a beautiful playground, baseball fields, skate park, and YMCA. Coffee shops and restaurants all within a 3-10 min walk. The Shore Path along the water is a very short walk. Just can’t beat the location if you have a small family.
Great location for visit to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Hiking, biking and driving the scenic Park Loop Rd. in Acadia is literally minutes away by car and when we needed to take a break from the outdoor adventures, good restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and shopping were only a few blocks away by foot. The house was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever stayed in, there were even coolers and lawn chairs provided in the shed that we used for picnics on our outdoor adventures. We did not need the owner for anything during our stay, but we did see her a couple of times and she was very nice. Overall, a great experience and one of the best located rental houses we have ever stayed in. We would happily stay here again if we ever visit this part of Maine again.
Marge's home has it all. The location is perfect. The home itself is warm and welcoming. Marge's touches, her written suggestions, and her availability made for an stress-free week. We will be back!

We loved everything about our stay. Marge was extremely helpful before and during our trip and had excellent recommendations that we took advantage of. The house is great for a family. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. It's an easy walk downtown and to a bunch of restaurants. Highly recommended!
This property was absolutely charming! Marjorie was quick to respond to questions, the house had all the amenities we needed to make our stay very comfortable. The location was perfect, steps away from downtown and a short drive to Acadia NP. I’d highly recommend this property and I’d stay there again if we return to the area!
This is the second summer we have stayed at this property. It is absolutely the BEST place to stay in Bar Harbor. It is easy to walk into town but located in a quiet neighborhood. The property owner is wonderful! We can't say enough good things about it! Highly recommend!
The Crow’s Nest is so warm and comfortable! Not modern, but classic and has everything you might need. Love the vintage tile and skylight in the upstairs bathroom (made it feel like you are showering in a tree house!). Margie is an excellent host with great communication. Short walk to downtown shops and restaurants, and on the “right” side of town to access Acadia quickly. Loved our stay, thank you, Margie!
We had the absolute best stay visiting Bar Harbor! The Crows' Nest was cozy and had everything you needed and more. The home is was walking distance from everything in Bar Harbor, right down the street from some of our favorite restaurants, and an easy drive into Acadia.
Marjorie was extremely accommodating and so kind, even offering us recommendations for catering in the area for our upcoming wedding events. We will absolutely be back to stay again soon!
We had a wonderful week in Bar Harbor staying at the Crow's Nest. The house is cozy and charming and just a short walk to both downtown's shops and restaurants and the beautiful views of the Shore Path. Marjorie is a great host - she's right next door to help if you have any questions. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're planning a trip to Acadia!
We absolutely loved our stay at Margie's Cozy Cottage! It was clean, well cared for and in a perfect location! The half mile stroll along Main street allowed for us to see all dining options, listen to live music, have access to bike rentals, as well as the shops and Bar Harbor. She supplied games, area "things to do" pamphlets, restaurant recommendations and Maine blueberry soda and jam as a special treat. We would highly recommend Margie's property and would love to come back in the future! Thanks Margie!
This home worked well for us. Marge has several nice touches that were very helpful. The location was perfect. Renters should know that the WiFi was weak and briefly dropped out at times. None-the-less, a great place if you want quaint and functional.
This lovely house was perfect for two friends meeting in Bar Harbor from two sides of the country. Location made walking to dinners in Bar Harbor a breeze and the proximity to the shore path was a joy. Yet just far enough away from the main bustle of Bar Harbor to be quiet and relaxing. Getting into Acadia for hikes and walks was quick and easy.
The owner was super friendly yet unobtrusive. And the house was stocked with all the basics that made our stay a pleasure. I would definitely rent this house again.
Our stayed in the Crows Nest is absolutely fantastic. The house is in the perfect location walking distance to restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. Short driving to Acadia National Park. Neighborhood is quiet. It would be a great place for a family vacation. Margie was a great host warm welcome and very helpful. I highly recommend this property. Would love to come back sometime soon.

This was the perfect place for our family of 5 to stay during our visit to Acadia. We were able to walk to Bar Harbor and easily drive in and out of Acadia. Just the right amount of space for us inside the house and easy parking. The house is cute and charming. Access to the Shore Path is fantastic. The owner is delightful and made herself available to answer all our questions and provide great recommendations. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again. It was wonderful in all aspects!
We enjoyed our stay so much, mostly because of our new friendship with Marge! She was a great neighbor and host, who answered questions and gave good advice when we asked. The house is older, with lots of charm. Showers are a little small, but we knew that before we booked, because of other reviewers. That wouldn't stop us from staying again and giving this VRBO a perfect review! Thanks for the memories, Marge!
This was a wonderful rental. The location is perfect. Very close walk to downtown Bar Harbor while still being quiet. We really enjoyed touring Acadia National Park during the day and walking up through town in the evenings to enjoy a meal, ice cream or beverage. Marge was a great host. The kitchen has every thing you would need, even spices, etc. Welcome treats was a really nice gesture. My only complaint is the WIFI. This was not a hardship for me, just would not be a properly you could remote work from.
