About this property

Welcome to The Maine Embrace. Our Cozy lakeside home is a little slice of heaven! Situated on 3 acres with no neighbors for the ultimate in privacy. A wooden boardwalk takes you from the house to the dock & pond. Beautiful mountain views and crystal, clear water. Two Kayaks are available for your enjoyment as well as a large floating mat for some sun tanning! Boat launch is just steps away. Speedboats are prohibited so the lake is super quiet and peaceful.

Want to Hike, ATV or snowmobile? Trails are right outside the front door! If skiing is calling you, it’s only a 40 minute drive to Sugarloaf Ski Resort and many others in the surrounding area.

10/10 would definitely stay here again!

This cabin was a nature lovers oasis. We took my parents here for their anniversary and everyone was just blown away at the cozy aesthetic, the cleanliness, and the hospitality the hosts provided in this little house in the woods. Kerrie was so prompt and kind in answering any questions we had. I really cannot express how much of an amazing experience we had here not our gratitude for sharing their gorgeous home with us for these past few days.

Born and raised in New England. I grew up going to Maine for years. Then after I was married and had a family, we would come up often as well. After losing my husband suddenly, I decided I needed a place to get away from everything and everyone. I just happened to stumble on this cabin and it’s been the perfect spot to heal my broken heart. Since I can’t always be here, I thought it would be nice to share it with others.
