Thank you so much for your kind review! We're thrilled you enjoyed the cabin and its location. Being just a few minutes from Estes Park while still offering a peaceful riverside setting is one of our favorite things about the property, too.
We're so glad you had the chance to explore both the town and Rocky Mountain National Park. Thank you for recommending our cabin—it truly means a lot to us. We'd love to host you again the next time you're planning a Colorado mountain getaway!
We were very comfortable in this cabin and really enjoyed our stay. We had a minor hiccup at check in, but the host was very responsive and rectified the situation quickly. The location was convenient to everything we had planned in Estes Park and beyond, and we enjoyed several good restaurants and of course, ice cream. The kitchen was well-stocked and my son enjoyed drinking milk and Dr. Pepper from the variety of margarita and wine glasses! If we return to the area, we would consider staying here again!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you and your family had a comfortable stay and enjoyed exploring Estes Park and the surrounding area. It sounds like you made the most of your trip—including the restaurants and, of course, the ice cream!
We also appreciate your understanding regarding the minor check-in hiccup. We're happy we were able to resolve it quickly so you could get back to enjoying your vacation.
It made us smile to hear that your son got a kick out of the assortment of glassware! We try to stock the cabin with everything guests might need to feel at home.
Thank you again for choosing our cabin. We'd love to welcome you back anytime you're planning another mountain getaway!
Hosts were very responsive leading up to our booking. The property has an unusual, but charming layout. If you book this cabin, you will want to spend as much time as possible on the patio listening to the river. Great access to Estes Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park. Also not terribly far to get to Boulder or Fort Collins for those visiting CSU like we were.

Fantastic place that is nicely outside of town. Enjoyed the quiet. Overall place was clean and comfortable. Living room furniture is very nice. Only issues were lack of curtains throughout the property. I am weird when it comes to that so it may just be a me thing. Would recommend if you like to be outside of town and have access to river
Great location. Very peaceful. Close to everything but away from the business of the town. Loved the sounds of the river when we opened the windows in the living room. Definitely recommend this home.
The cabin was great. being a native to Colorado and having the ability to go to the mountains and get out of the city to a beautiful place was great. The cabin was clean and we all loved the porch over looking the Big Thompson River. My daughter and her friends really loved the cabin and enjoyed to celebrate her 17th Birthday.

This was a great home for our family. So spacious and the owner was great in responding quickly. This is a great home and location. Highly recommended!
This is a quirky but lovely home! The best equipped kitchen I have experienced at a rental. The only suggestion I have is to add some lighting to the bedroom upstairs - it is very dark! Danielle was a very responsive host. The location was very convenient for visiting Rocky Mtn. National Park. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Property was wonderful. It was located outside of town, so was extremely peaceful. It was maintained great and we never found a moment where we were needing anything. Owners were responsive. Cell phone service was hit and miss, but thats exactly what we were looking for. Very unique property, and we had our best fishing days right in front of the cabin!

We’re also glad that the limited cell service worked in your favor—disconnecting and relaxing is what it’s all about out here. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
This cabin was great for our family. We all loved being on the river. There were two elk that hung out near our cabin. The cleaning crew did not clean before our stay, at no fault of the host. When we notified the host, they were quick to respond and had it cleaned quickly for us. Great host and great stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful and cozy stay! Great communication. Great accommodations. Great location. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities for cooking. The views are great and the home rests in a very peaceful setting. I loved sitting on the deck (and next to the open windows in the LR) to hear the sounds of the water.

We did not stay - the cleaning service did not show up and the cabin was not livable.
All in all the stay was good. Minor things like coffee pot and dvd The bed in second bedroom is difficult for older folks to get in and out of. Loved being by river and it was close to Estes Park and RMNP. Appliances worked well Host responded to questions promptly.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re truly sorry that parts of your stay fell short of expectations and appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We were glad to stay in close communication during your visit and address each issue as quickly as possible.
Your input is valuable to us, and we are actively following up with our maintenance and property care teams to make improvements moving forward. Thank you again for staying with us and for giving us the opportunity to improve.
The host was an excellent communicator, and even volunteered to connect us with a fishing guide. The multi-level property is built into a hill right above the Big Thompson River, and there are stairs down to the river where you can fish for rainbow and brown trout from their property. Well equipped and nicely furnished.

We're so glad that you enjoyed your stay! We love our four season state, but fall is the most magical of all with the changing leaves and rushing river! We welcome you back anytime!
It was a very nice cabin right on the river. Being unfamiliar with the area, I did think that the house was going to be more remote than it actually was, and you can’t really see the river while sitting inside the house. (Both of these things the owner obviously cannot control). We did have some elk come into the yard and saw an otter while playing in the river, which was awesome! Overall a nice house and convenient to Estes Park and RMNP.

Property was nice and clean inside. Exterior of the property was in need of some general maintenance. Property manager assured me she would address this. Everything worked as expected. It’s advertised as 3 bedrooms and although it does have 3 separate sleeping areas one of the areas is not at all private and is actually a bed placed in a breakfast nook. The location is perfect. Over all I was happy with the stay and it was a nice experience.

Hi Brian, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, found the cabin clean, and appreciated the location. I also appreciate your comments about the exterior and have made sure our maintenance team addressed the exterior. Regarding the third sleeping area, we try to make it clear in our listing that it’s a more open space, but I’ll review the description to ensure future guests have the right expectations. We’re happy to hear you had an overall positive experience, and we’d be delighted to host you again on your next visit to Estes Park.
Had a wonderful time. Beds slept great. Living room furniture needs a deep cleaning for a more fresh smell. Had to purchase a new coffee maker. One in the cabin is not the one pictured in the listing. This place is located in a woody area, but could use an outdoor refreshing, lots of debris on porch. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled very clean upon arrival. Owners were great to work with.

For us, Estes Park has always been a place of magic and meaning—a backdrop for some of our best childhood memories and now, a place where we reconnect as a family.
We’re passionate about the outdoors and all the simple joys Colorado offers. Whether it’s casting a fly into a quiet stretch of river, spotting wildlife at sunrise, or sharing stories around a campfire, we believe life is simply better in the mountains. Estes Park has a way of grounding you—it helps you breathe deeper, sleep better, and slow down.
This cabin is more than a vacation rental—it’s part of our story. We designed and built it with care and intention, hoping it would become a space where others can create lasting memories, just as we have.

Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it embodies everything we love about mountain living—peaceful surroundings, breathtaking natural beauty, and a slower, more intentional pace that’s hard to find in today’s fast-moving world.
For years, we traveled to the mountains with our family, searching for a place that felt like more than just a getaway. We wanted stunning views, yes—but also a sense of belonging. The first time we visited this area, we knew we’d found it. The sound of wind rustling through the trees, sunlight dancing across the peaks, and the calm stillness of the river made us pause, breathe deeper, laugh more, and reconnect with what truly matters.
What makes this neighborhood special isn’t just the location—though you’re just minutes from scenic trails, alpine lakes, and iconic mountain vistas. It’s the feeling you get when you’re here. Neighbors wave. Kids play outside. Evenings are filled with stories, campfires, and skies ablaze with stars. It’s a place that invites connection and reminds you of simpler, more meaningful moments.
This is a community that encourages you to unplug, slow down, and focus on what matters most. Whether your visit is for adventure or quiet rest, this setting makes it effortless to do both—and to create lasting memories along the way.
We feel incredibly lucky to call this place part of our story, and we’re grateful to share it with guests like you.
What makes this property unique
The View That Sets Our Cabin Apart
What truly sets our Estes Park cabin apart is the view—not just its beauty, but how it makes you feel. Nestled along the Big Thompson River, the cabin offers a front-row seat to Colorado’s natural splendor in every season. Nearly every window frames a postcard-perfect scene: rushing water, towering pines, and snow-dusted peaks on the horizon.
In summer, the spacious deck becomes the heart of the home. Wildflowers bloom, the river flows just steps away, and the mountain air feels fresh and grounding. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee or unwinding at sunset with a glass of wine. Hummingbirds flit by the feeders, and you might even hear elk calling in the distance—gentle reminders that you’re truly immersed in nature.
Winter transforms the landscape into a quiet, snow-covered wonderland. Whether curled up by the fireplace or watching snowflakes drift past the Great Room’s tall windows, it feels like living inside a snow globe. There’s a stillness here that invites reflection, rest, and connection.
Each season brings its own magic:
Spring: vibrant greens and rushing rivers fed by mountain snowmelt.
Summer: wildflowers, wildlife, and long evenings by the water.
Fall: golden aspens, crisp air, and breathtaking mountain colors.
Winter: peaceful silence and snow-draped landscapes.
This cabin isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to feel. A true mountain escape where you can slow down, reconnect, and rediscover what matters most. The view may draw you in, but it’s the sense of peace and presence you’ll carry with you long after you leave.
